  1. Davids Bridal---White with black flower girl basket for sale. NEVER used, STILL in original packaging. Satin black fabric gathers together with a rhinestone/pearl brooch in the middle. Very cute, just did not match my flower girl's dress :) I will throw in a box of 500 white flower petals that have NOT been used also. The basket retails for $29 and the petals were $10. I'm asking $25 for both, and I will also pay shipping! :) ***Picture shown has BURGUNDY accent color, I did not take a picture of my actual basket but certainly can if you are interested***

  2. Beautiful, chiffon wedding dress for sale! I wore this dress for a few short hours immediately following our destination wedding ceremony in Cabo San Lucas! I wanted pictures on the beach, but wanted to keep my original ceremony dress in good shape for our at-home reception. SO along came this dress! It is in immaculate shape. The dress is strapless, with a sweetheart neckline. The front has ruching down the side, and gathers to the side meeting with three chiffon roses. The inside of each rose have pearls and some rhinestones. Has a corset back allowing for a little give in size differences. I normally wear a size 6 in street clothes, and this dress fit me like a glove. I had a bustle added so that I could put the train up if I wanted to. I purchased it for $499, but am selling for $250! This would be perfect for a destination wedding, or for a reception dress for anyone who wants a dress that's comfortable and easy to move in. Simple, but elegant! I do NOT have any pictures of the dress by itself, only of me wearing it. If you aren't able to see up close enough, I can definitely send more pictures! :) Any questions, feel free to ask!

  3. Brand NEW, never worn, with tags: Black hoodie with the word "Bride" spelled out on the back in PINK Swarovski crystals! I bought this to wear on the plane for our destination wedding, but decided not to use it. Paid $49.90 plus tax and shipping...will sell for $40, shipping included. Paypal or personal check only!

***Picture shows white with pink crystals...mine is BLACK with PINK crystals :)***

    Thank you!

  4. Wow your pictures are awesome!

What types of services have you all had who have used Suzanne Morel? I am looking at having my hair and makeup done of course, as well as lashes. Did you all do the trial for both hair and makeup before? I am wondering if any of you also had a blower done? My hair is pretty fine and I don't know how it is going to react to the Cabo weather!

  5. No problem. We are doing our dinner back at our resort, the RIU Santa Fe. Just renting out one of the semi-private restaurants.

I am using Tammy Wolff and she has been great so far, very helpful! Her email is [email protected]. Again, it is based on how many people you plan on having. She charges a coordination fee based on how much you are having her plan and how many guests....I think she estimated 30 people at $1,000 and 31-75 people was $1,250? Somewhere around there. She is definitely willing to answer any and all questions!

You could definitely have a fabulous wedding for $15000 even with your travel and stay. We are planning a big at home reception otherwise we could have splurged a little more on the actual reception in Cabo, but this way I can still have the ceremony I want with the reception I want!

  6. The price all depends on how many guests you have and what you all want included. You will have to hire an outside wedding coordinator as they do not provide one for you like most resorts. So those, depending on how many guests again, range in price from $750-$2000 on average. If you want to do open bar for your guests, SDML charges $24 per person per hour for the first hour, $21 per person per hour for the second hour, and so on. We are doing 2 hours of open bar so that's $45/person, times 30 people.

We have decided to just do their minimum consumption, which for the small terrace is covered by the two hours of open bar we chose to do. You can also do appetizers after the ceremony, with our without drinks, and that all depends on how many you want.

Then for the dinner, which we are not doing, it depends on what you choose for a meal. I think with everyone, two hours of drinks, appetizers, dinner and cake you can estimate approx $120-$150 per person. They charge $8 per person for the cake...plus tax and gratuity. All of the prices are subject to 11% tax and 18% gratuity which adds up!

Then you have to add in your DJ, flowers, chairs and setup, transportation......they've got all kinds of things for you to choose from! Happy planning!

  7. I am looking for any brides who are planning to or already have been legally married in Cabo. We are planning our wedding at RIU Santa Fe and I am wondering if any previous brides have a copy of the actual ceremony that the judge speaks. I am looking for an idea of what they all say and what we can add afterwards. ANY INFO would be great!

  8. Hello! I am also a RIU Santa Fe Bride---2.2.2012 :) I am doing a beach wedding at 4 pm. I have read reviews of the gazebo and seen a few pictures and trust me, you won't want to have your wedding there. It looks like the gazebo is basically in the pool, and the brochure that the wedding coordinator sent me states the it can only hold up to 20 guests. So if you plan on having more than that, I would definitely go for the beach location!

I hope they are able to play music on the beach! I am sure they can accomodate it. I am hoping to hear some reviews of the different restaurants as well, and which one most brides choose for their dinners.

Good luck with all of your planning!

  9. BRAND NEW, NEVER worn, White Maggie Sottero Cassia Wedding Dress. I am having a destination wedding and decided on a more traditional dress. Therefore I am NOT using this dress. It is in perfect condition, label size 4, chiffon overlay. The back of the dress is zip up with buttons and has a deep V---very stunning. Exquisite beaded accents surround the waist, with a detailed sweetheart neckline. This dress can be worn strapless or with beaded cap sleeves. Perfect as a second dress OR for a beach wedding. I will also throw in a rhinestone choker/necklace for free!! :) Goes GREAT with the dress. I purchased for $750 but will sell the dress for $400 with the necklace, or BEST OFFER! Very motivated to sell! Can send pictures if interested :)

  10. Hey again everyone---

Lots of questions from this curious new bride-to-be!!! We are planning a legal ceremony at the RIU Palace Cabo for 2/2/12. Just wondering what previous brides recommend as far as a reception for after the ceremony? We are expecting roughly 30 guests so not a HUGE wedding, and we are also planning an at home reception a month after we get back where we will do the whole traditional first dance, cake cutting, etc. So I don't really want to pay for a reception twice. Is the semi--private dinner included in the package? And what would you suggest doing after the dinner is over? Is it tacky to just have everyone meet at a bar/nightclub in Cabo instead of renting out the disco?

Should I really be worrying about these things 10 months before the wedding date?! Haha, or am I getting ahead of myself!? This all SO new to me, so I'm not sure how to go about the planning process!

Any input/suggestions would be super helpful!

  11. Hey everyone! Our wedding plans are finally coming together, with a date of 2/2/12! Just wondering if any previous brides who had a LEGAL ceremony at the RIU Palace could sum up what the ceremony was like. Is the ceremony in Spanish or are they able to translate to English? Do most brides do a sand ceremony/how does it work? Do they actually do the whole "do you take this man, I do, etc." like a traditional wedding? Lots of uncertainties for sure :) Any information would be super helpful! And congrats to all of you :) Hope you are having as much fun as I am with this process!

  12. Hello everyone! Anyone have any input on the difficulty of having a civil ceremony in Mexico? My fiance and I are from the US and we are looking at doing a destination wedding at the Tucan, but I want to get married and do the whole "for better, for worse...I do...etc" thing in front of my family and friends. I am wondering if this is how the civil ceremony works?? And also....any input on the Iberostar Tucan would be helpful....how are the guest rooms? Did having the volleyball court right next to the wedding ceremony affect the privacy at all?? HELP! :)
