I talked to my jeweler yesterday and they told me that it's good to get it redipped at least once a year.

The labels I got are by Avery and are 1 x 2 5/8. I got them at Walmart for like $7 and there is a template on Microsoft Word that I used. It's the one that is for 30 address labels and can be used with Avery 5160 or 8160. Here is my file, let me know if it doesn't work for some reason!

Help!!! I've looked everywhere for jewelry for my Matron of Honor. Her dress is champagne with a coral ribbon. I want to do some sort of necklace with the coral added and possibly pearls too, since that's what I'll be wearing. But I can't find anything that looks "wedding." I've looked on Etsy and everything, but nothing really wows me! Any help would be greatly appreciated, or ideas? I'm not against making her necklace, but I just don't know what design and everything to go with. Thanks ladies!

I found them at Michael's in the jewelry section. They are 2 x 3 inch bags. If you ask any of the ladies that work there, they will guide you in the right direction

Hey ladies! I'm finally done with our OOT bags! Yay! Ours aren't too fancy, but that's what I love about them. Let me know what you think! We still have 6 weeks until the wedding, so I still have time to add stuff if I want
Bags: Purchased at Michaels in a pack of 15 for $5
Sign on Bag: Coral and Teal cardstock I cut and printed
Brochures: Vistaprint - 25 free, shipping and handling $12
San Diego Tour Book: 25 Free from San Diego Chamber of Commerce
Orbit Gum: Pack of 12 for $8.88
Directions: got directions provided by our coordinator and printed them on 1/2 sheets of presentation paper on my own
Little notebook with matching pen: Got 10 for $1 each at Michael's
Sunblock: Got 10 for $1.97 each at Walmart
Hand Sanitizers: Got 10 for $10 at Bath and Body Works
Motion Sickness Relief: Bottle of 100 tablets for $3.87 at Walmart
Excedrin: Bottle of 300 Tablets at Costco for $9
Baggies for medicine: 175 bags for $3
Baggies for Swedish Fish: 100 bags for $4 at Michaels, Ribbon from Michaels, Made labels myself, Swedish Fish 1.9 lb bag at Target for $4.44
And I may add small packages of tissues too.
So rounding up, each bag with goodies included cost about $7.75 for each. Which I think is pretty darn good!
Swedish Fish Label says "Deepest Thanks"

My Matron of Honor is throwing it, but she is very last minute and not organized unlike me. I'm a perfectionist and very organized, and if I didn't get to pick out the invites or make them, all hell would have hit the fan! And she has two little boys, so I just made the invites and she will fill out the details and help me address them. It's a win win!

I found an invitation like it online, and thought "why can't I make that on Publisher?" So I just started messing around with fonts and stuff the other night, and it took me about 2 hours to complete it to my liking and try and make it look centered and everything. I think it turned out pretty good. This was my inspiration http://www.weddingpaperdivas.com/product/7193/signature_white_party_invitations_final_fling.html haha

Teira1031 hope this works for you, if not message me and let me know and I can email the attachment to you personally

Hi Girls! Just wanted to share my Bachelorette Party Invitation that I made tonight on Microsoft Publisher! I'm pretty proud of it, and think it turned out pretty good! I'm planning on printing them out on cardstock and adding a ribbon on the top and possibly some rhinestones. If you'd like the template just let me know, because I'd love to share.

So I asked my best friend to be my Matron of Honor in our wedding. We are only having a Best Man and Matron of Honor, since it is a destination wedding and we didn't want a big wedding party. Well, I asked her well over a year ago in the early planning stages just to make sure that she would have enough time to save and everything. Her husband and her have always had a pretty rocky marriage. She found out she was pregnant after they had only been dating for 3 months, so they decided to get married before they had the child, which only seemed like the right thing to do at the time. But now, 8 years and 2 kids later, they are miserable. Needless to say, I received a text message from her this morning stating that her husband and her got into a fight about the trip/wedding lastnight and that he doesn't think they can afford it and blah blah blah! Typical to come from him, because she wants to do something and he has to hold her back! Anyways, so she says they had an argument and that she was wondering if we could pay for her plane ticket and then she would pay us back because she doesn't want her husband to freak about it. Well, either way he is going to know about it, and our wedding is March 10......WHY HAVE YOU NOT PURCHASED YOUR TICKETS YET!!!!! So, now I'm wondering if she is trying to say in a round about way that she isn't going to be able to be in the wedding or what is going on!!! I can make other arrangements but I need to know NOW!!! But she is the type of person that won't just come out and say things because she's either scared or embarrassed!! I won't be upset either way, as long as she tells me know instead of waiting until the week of the wedding and decides that her husband is being to big of an a*hole and that she can't go at all, then we're screwed! I honestly just want to tell her to not even worry about it, and to just stay home so that it doesn't cause more problems between them and I don't have to worry about it everyday if she really is going to go! But I don't know how to go about it without it coming off as rude! I need help!!! Or an alcoholic beverage sounds good too!!!! Everything was stress free until the past couple of weeks! AAAAHHHH!!!! Thanks ladies for listening I really appreciate it!

MVPHairMakeup - I agree with you 100%. Only thing is...I live in Nebraska and our wedding is in San Diego in March. I won't be able to have a trial run with anyone before the wedding day itself. My friend (Matron of Honor) will also be there. I am also a licensed cosmetologist and so is she. So if there is any problems, I always have her to fall back on for help. Plus I'm very particular in my look and if someone does one thing wrong I'm gonna freak haha. Us ladies and being perfectionists!!

No matter how many different products you buy, your application will probably be the same as always...and dont you want to look "special" not different just a better you? Its important you find the right person who you feel at ease expressing your ideas, worries and expectations so that all you have to do is relax and look beautiful. You deserve it.

I've read that at Sephora you pay $50 to do a full consultation, but if you buy any product that the $50 will be credited to your purchase, otherwise you loose the $50. I have an appointment set for MAC on Thursday, but I'm really worried about it because I've never used any of their products before, and I'm really kind of gearing towards going with products from Sephora. I don't know what to do I'm loosing my mind with the wedding less that 2 months away and thinking about all the things that still need to be done!!!!

Also, when you have a trial done at Sephora, do you have to buy the makeup they put on you? I know a lot of counters have a purchase minimum for trail makeup.
I'm really worried I might have to get my makeup done at the resort spa...scary not knowing what to expect!

I'm also going to include a separate flyer that will list the directions to all the important places.

cookiemunchkin.....thank you so much for the information! This really does help! I think I'm going to take a trip out to Sephora today and see if maybe they can just do a consultation. The only part of my makeup that I'm set in stone on, is my mascara. I've been using Chanel's Inimitable Intense and it's absolutely amazing!!! Doesn't clump or flake and it lasts all day long. Even if I sleep with it on, it doesn't get all over my pillow or flake during the night. I love it! I've also heard good things about the Smashbox and MUFE foundations. I have some free time today so I'll just make a trip to Sephora and see what they say. Thanks again!

Thanks!!! I used Microsoft Publisher and just opened a new Brochure template and just started playing around with different stuff. I'll post some updated pics, because I think I'm pretty much done with it now. It is time consuming, but I had a lot of fun putting it together knowing that I did it all on my own. Good Luck! Yours will look great

Hi Ladies!! Hoping you can help me out! I'm doing my own wedding day hair and makeup because I'm a perfectionist at both. Anyways, I've been doing some research the past couple of days and would like some input. What is the best makeup to use on my wedding day? I've looked on Sephora's website and I've looked into MAC's products. I'm probably going to have to go to both and just have a consultation, but I'd like some input from you as well. So if you could please give me any advice, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thank you!!

I didn't want to bed tan either because of all the horror stories!! But with my wedding March 10, I just started tanning a couple days a week in the higher level beds in the middle of December. At the tanning salon I go to, they just got a new spray tan that's called the "VersaSpa Spray Tan Booth." Which they say is suppose to be the best one out there and doesn't rub off on clothes or anything. Here's a link to the VersaSpa website if you wanna check it out.....http://www.versaspa.com/theexperience.aspx. So, If I don't have a good enough base tan I can always use the VersaSpa before we leave too.

I used to spray tan all the time until my fiance fessed up and said he thought it looked weird on me, and I have olive skin! I don't bed tan because I used to work at MD Anderson Cancer Center and that just freaked me out! I am not going to spray tan before the wedding because of it fading and getting on my dress, plus I hear it looks weird in pictures. So I think I will bed tan the minimal amount of time before the wedding.

Thanks Aumuller! I signed up for an account a couple weeks ago, but then this morning I finally got an email for free t-shirts!! Maybe it just takes awhile! Whoop! Whoop! Love free stuff

Ok, so I totally feel out of the loop, or maybe I'm just overlooking everything. But I read all the threads and posts about everyone getting free stuff from Vistaprint for their OOT bags. I was wondering how you get all your stuff for free? I want in on all the goodies goodness too Thanks ladies!!!

Angel1929, that's exactly what I did. Purchased items way in advance!! Definitely saves you a lot of headache and you can play around with stuff to make sure it looks exactly how you want it to look. It's great being organized and ahead of schedule!
