Hi!  We used Ivan and DJDorremixx for our wedding at Now Jade on 8/6/11 and could not have been happier!  I put my husband in charge of music and he came up with a very detailed play list and a very specific idea of how and when he wanted certain songs played.  Ivan did not disappoint!  He had an instinct of which songs to mix and play and did an absolutely fantastic job!  My husband was very picky with his music and was very impressed with Ivan's ability to mix the music and keep the party going.  The masks, balloons and neon necklaces were also a hit   Thanks Ivan, you're great!

melissa - castaways is different from the terraces.  carnival terrace is the same as festival terrace - castways is the restaurant BEHIND the buffet, facing the pool

Luvmoo, the bags look great!  Where did you get the plastic wallet sleeves?  All the ones I've found so far feel so flimsy

I did a test run with my lanterns and just taped the throwie to the frame.  It held for 2 weeks!  Only thing is that the light doesn't look very centered.

It's perfect!  Your resort did a great job!

Thanks for the review Sara!  It seems all the things you were most worried about are the same things I'm the most worried about!  I'm about 6 weeks away and starting to get nervous, but your review (and photos) has calmed me down a bit.

Questions for you both:  did you set up a table for your photographer and DJ?  I'm not sure how that tends to work.  And how did you get your OOT bags to your guests?  Ana told me there's a $2 charge per bag to deliver!  That seems absurd. 

what a gorgeous cake!  i haven't even asked my resort what they can and can't do....

this cake is beautiful!!  i hope now jade can do something like that...

I brought the pants to my tailor and he said there wasn't enough room to be let out   We're going to reorder them in the preset sizes, but I'm still upset that StudioSuits in insisting that I made the error!

I brought the pants to my tailor and he said there's a little room in the waist, but not enough in the leg to be let out.  So essentially....there's nothing he can do with them! 

I'm also having trouble with Studio Suits.  After reading such great reviews on this thread we decided to order a linen suit from them.  I measured my guy exactly according to their instructions.  The jacket came out nicely, but the pants are so small!  They fit me better than they fit him!  They're at least 1 inch SMALLER than the measurements I sent them.  I've been emailing back and forth with one of their reps who insist it's my fault the pants came out smaller than what I measured.  It's so frustrating.  We're probably just going to order another set of pants from them since we already have the jacket, but it's really upsetting that they don't take any responsibility.

Thanks for your very detailed review!  It helps calm me down to read about such great experiences.  Quick question for you, did you have to pay to have your welcome bags distributed?  Ana told me it would cost $2-3 per bag. 

Also, are you able to send me your welcome brochure?  I can't download it due to lack of permission or something....
