Hello, I just had my wedding on 7/17/11. I used Lazy Gourmet and they were AMAZING!! Tracy the owner went above and beyond and made sure everything was perfect. Email communication takes a few days but they were on Mexico time so I was used to it. I used them for food, servers and rentals. I will be posting my review within the next week and will have more information.

We are having ours about 12 miles north of San Jose, its a development called Los Zacatitos, Villa Panga - we rented it for the minimum of 3 nights.

We will have our ceremony on the beach and the reception on the terrace at the Villa

The beaches there are secluded and no cut off time for music, we really wanted the feeling of having the beach to ourselves.

About half the guests are staying at our Villa and the rest are staying at resorts, we will provide transportation the night of the wedding for those who are not staying there.

My fiance grew up surfing/camping about half a mile away from our Villa, great surf spot so I knew he would love being close to it.

So far I officially booked the Villa & Officiant

Still working on quotes with Caterer(food,chairs/rentals), hair/makeup, flowers/cake and will make the deposit hopefully by the end of the month

I still need to book the Photographer, Transportation for the guests & book my flight for down there

I guess I feel like all the little details will start adding up if I dont start DIYing or buying them now (invites, led throwies, placecards, painting the maracas + kiss tags, fans, parasols, luggage tags) some of them I know I cant do without the final RSVP though

Are you providing any sort of transportation, if so what company are you working through?

Congrats!! I am a July 17, 2011 bride and just booked our Villa, such a weight lifted once it is officially booked!!

I was looking into buying the preserved flowers from save-on-crafts for my centerpieces. Once you get them what are the care for them, do you need to keep them in a cool place up until the wedding? Any information would be awesome!!

Has anyone had their wedding at Marbella Suites en la Playa? We are wanting our wedding at a private villa but need to keep out options open. Any advice would be great!

All this information is so helpful!! We are hoping to have our rehearsal dinner at No Worrys, it is a great restaurant on the marina with excellent food. They are known for their buckets of food and beer.
