I am not sure if you read the listing incorrectly or not but the dress you bought only comes in one size, a size 8. Since it was a sample, it can only comes in one size...you wouldn't be able to order it in a 10/12. I am sure if you wanted to ship it back they would exchange it for you for a different dress in a different size that would fit you.

I think its the same as if you would order any bridesmaids dress. You would take your measurements and go onto the manufacturer's size chart and select the size with the biggest measurement. You can always get things taken in if needed :-)

Hi CanadianGirl...I looked on it again and you have to go the sale area on the left side and click on it and then click sale items. It looks like there are maybe about 50-60 dresses on there to choose from and they are all $15.

Not sure if it would help anyone out at all needing cheap bridesmaid dresses, but you can get former sample bridesmaids dresses for $15 at www.heartstringsbridal.com. It would be good for people needing just one bridesmaid dress, a party dress, or is wanting their bridesmaids to wear different styles. Just thought I would pass along the info if it could help out some people on a budget or looking for a deal.

I am selling a chiffon wedding gown that was bought as a sample. It has never been worn or altered. It is in ivory size 10, and is a very light and flowly chiffon gown.
Description of the Gown:This chiffon wedding gown has a smooth bodice surrounded by delicate pleating at the sides of the empire, that in turn is encased by a two inch band of intricate beading and embroidery in a heart and floral pattern. The slim A line skirt is of accordion pleating.

Selling a gorgeous Liz Fields style #9002 in Ivory size 10 corset back gown. This is a fitted gown on the top with a beautiful crystal belt sewn into the dress and a light skirt with a few pickups. The dress is very light and sparkly and I absolutely loved it! The dress has been altered in the side seams to fit me and I am 5'4" and 140 lbs. It also has a french bustle but you can choose to use it or have a different bustle sewn in if you prefer an outside bustle. The dress has been worn and I have included pictures and it can definately be worn again or used as a TTD. I paid over $700 for the dress and am selling it for $175.00 plus I will ship it to you for free in the US. .

Sophia Tolli Carly Diamond White Size 14 dress altered down to fit me around a size 10 also includes french bustle. This gown has been worn for a TTD session but is still in great condition and definately can be worn again. Paid $700, selling for $250. I am 5'4, 140 lbs and if you are around the same the gown will fit you, it also has a corset back. It is a beautiful gown!! The picture shows it in purple and white and this is all white. Sopha Tolli Wedding Gown "Carly" 2727 I bought the dress a size 14 diamond white only (there is no purple beading all white) and had it altered to my size which is betweem and 8 and 10. This dress is also corset back and has been worn. It has not been cleaned and was used for a trash the dress session. The dress is still in good condition and could be worn again for TTD. I just got back from getting married in Cancun and had my wedding at the Cancun Palace and it was fabulous! The party did end at 10pm because it was on a terrace, but you could always move your "after party" to one of the clubs down the road for more partying. Most of my guests were tired after 4 straight hours of dancing and then a few hit up the hotel bar afterwards. With that many people staying at the same resort I did, you would qualify for free private events (meaning free rehearsal dinner, free reception etc) and you would get a 7 night stay for free too.

I actually bought the playing cards from The Knot shop. I waited for them to go on sale and then bought the playing cards and the parasols at the same time to save on shipping. I would highly recommend both.

Bridesmaid Dresses
Our colors are cobalt blue and orange and the bridesmaids are wearing B3045 and B2082 in knee length cobalt. They will be short and cute! These are the shoes they are wearing with them and the jewelry and pashminas as gifts.
The Groomsmen and Groom will be wearing tuxedos from Savvi Formalwear. They will be getting matching ties and reef sandals as grooms gifts.
The Flower girl is wearing a Rosebud dress in coordinating colors.
The rehearsal dinner outfit dress is from Express.

Thank you to the site for all of the great ideas and inspiration that this has given me for the wedding. There a lot of VERY talented people sharing ideas and helping brides all over the world make their weddings special. I am about a week out from boarding the plane and thought I would start my planning journal and start to give back some of the ideas I have used as well as will add more to the journal later and post a review after we come back :-)
Our Story
JD and I met through mutual friends (my college, his high school) and we had known the same people for years, but had never met before. We ended up meeting at a birthday party for one of our mutual friends and instantly had a connection. There was just something about him that I had to know more and he was very giving and loving from the moment I met him. We went on a few dates and became exclusive and our friends joked that we already acted like we were married and were inseperable. We moved in together after a few months and started to share our lives together in a whole new way. Its the best feeling in the world to come home to your best friend and I knew I wanted to be with him forever.
We ended up taking a trip to Las Vegas and then driving to Utah and visiting Zion National Park. We were horseback riding and hiking in the mountains when he proposed and it was a really special day. We actually had to stand on a higher mountain top to get enough reception to call our family and friends to tell them we were engaged!
Our wedding will be at the Cancun Palace and we are really excited to have it there since its all inclusive and our guests wont have to worry about anything as well as a lot of our guests have never been out of the country so its going to be an adventure!

My fiance wanted a ring that was more "manly" so its titanium with a simple small diamond in the middle.

My wedding dress is a Liz Fields dress and is definately not beach friendly but I didnt care, it has a lot of personality and I think its really fun and has a really sparkly belt on it so I am sticking with it.
Trash the Dress
I picked up this dress after I realized I would probably would sink if I went in the water with my wedding dres on so I decided on a typical destination dress in chiffon. I am doing a really fun TTD session with our photographer we are flying down there so we are going to do a couple of different looks which I am excited about! Its Sophia Tolli and in all white.

The company wedding gown preservation will do gown cleaning without the preservation and can do cleaning and minor repairs you just write on the packing slip clean only...we sell the kits my wedding store for $149 and that includes the preservation and cleaning...I certainly wouldnt pay more than that to do just the cleaning locally. The only bad thing about using the kit is that you would use the kit to ship the gown to them and they ship it back(UPS) versus dropping it off and picking up locally. Hopefully this information helps you price out your options better!

Its understandable that you want a lot of people to share in your big day. Are you having a welcome home party after your wedding sometime? We are fortunate to have around 45 people coming to our wedding but there was a TON of the people who couldnt financially or take time off of work, so we are going to have our wedding ceremony video taped and play it at our welcome home reception in the summer. It will be BBQ style and low key but a time to share the moment again with people who couldnt make the trip. Just an idea if you are on a budget and still want to share your moment.
Focus on the people that are there and are able to make it, and you will have a blast!!

It looks like they updated the site with a bunch more bridesmaids dresses for sale for only $15. Its great if you need something for mom, for one bridesmaid, the rehearsal dinner etc. The dresses are samples available in one size/color only, but if you find one you love its a great steal.
