Nate is also on BDW now if that helps at all

we had a couple vegetarians at our wedding. They said the food was really good. There are a lot of veggies and pasta there, I think we had a type of alfredo and a type of mac and cheese or something like that.. and one other type with no meat. They also ate some other things as well so I wouldnt worry too much about that
-
Thank you so much!
-
You knocked a lot of the hard stuff out.. so that always helps!

I don't know if Kelley told all of you about the wedding blog that Las Caletas has. It is kind of hard to find from their website..
Â
Here is the link

WOW! They are stunning! I love them all!!

The picture showed up for me! Really cute!

I am sure that there will be SOME little things that won't go EXACTLY as planned. That is just the way it works.. but nothing terrible should happen. Vallarta Adventures knows what they are doing and they are great at it. Kelley is there for you every step of the way and she is wonderful at what she does! You will see! Your wedding will be great!
ÂDinner and the bar are at the same location. The buffet is set up right next to the bar which is located on the middle of the wall. You will see, it is very well put together. I will see if I can find a picture!
Â
Â
Ok, this is a picture of my Step brother giving his speech. He is standing facing the sweetheart table that my husband and I sat at. Behind him is the bar. And the buffet is just to the left of the bar.
Â
Â
This doesnt really show it that clearly.. but if you can see the set of candles to the left of the bar.. that is where the buffet is, along with the dessert bar.
Â
The bathrooms are right around the corner from where you eat near where the guys get dressed.
Â
I hope that helps a little

I agree with Andi! There is nothing I would have changed! They do such a great job of making your wedding go smoothly!

I was so happy to get rid of my last name. Not that I am not proud of my family or anything like that.. but I consider it an honor to follow in this tradition. I am happy to take his last name.. and mine was long and no one seemed to know how to spell or say it.. ever! lol
Â
And it is important that I have the same last name as my future kids!

I have waaaaay bad eyesight in the dark.. but I had no problems.. there are a lot of torches and candles and the bonfire is huge.. you can see everything clearly.. and there are candles on each step and the building where you eat and get drinks is clearly lit too
-
LOL Luckily it doesnt buzz me for that long!
Â
Â
Oh man does it EVER
Â
Here is a few pics of my wedding after dark

RIGHT! that sounds more like it!

No, it is less for wedding party. I want to say... $180... I cant remember.. man I need more coffee
-
We got married on a Tuesday for that same reason. The marina would be REALLY packed and I wouldn't want to deal with that either
Â
No one got sick on the boat.. the ride isn't bad at all... but anyone that might get sick should bring some Dramamine just to be safe... and I wouldnt worry about the alcohol/boat combo.. our party got a little crazy on the ride back and everyone was still good!

My FI is saying that I am being to critical but it is a mess and so many things I asked for on it are wrong or not even on the topper and both the bride’s arms are cracked and the groom wasn't finished being painted! That was it and broke down. I had such high hopes for it and then I was so let down and I am afraid the exact same thing will happen with the wedding. I know I read past bride’s say that they worried for nothing and that they wish they didn’t worry so much but I don’t know how to do that!

I totally understand about being upset about the cake topper! That really sucks that it was done poorly, but don't take it as a reflection of how your wedding is going to turn out. I know how stressful wedding planning is.. especially when it is getting down to the wire.. but your wedding is going to be beautiful.. you are going to be beautiful... just remember.. things are going to go wrong and that is ok.. just try to breathe and shake some of it off.. you only get this process once.. so try to enjoy what you can of it..

I am nervous at cost for my guests to travel at this time of year but I can't think of any other time that I would be able to get most to go and weather be good.

I love the idea of how private a wedding here will be. Has anyone seen anything similar? I am soo nervous to commit even though I love the looks of this place since I personally will not be able to do a site check myself.
Â
Did most of you have your family there days before the wedding or more after the wedding?
Is the area where the party is held safe for children? I will be having quite a few kids attending.
How is the food? Quality of the food is pretty important to me.
Around how much did it cost to have someone come and do hair and make-up?
Â
Any help I will appreciate!
I have never been to Mexico in December, but I am sure it will be really beautiful!Â
I have not seen anything similar in the "privacy" aspect. Las Caletas is GREAT for that. The beach is so beautiful and it feels like no one else is there but the people at your wedding. That is exactly the reason we picked it. We didn't want "random" people walking by our wedding. It was worth every penny to have the seclusion!
Â
We had 32 people at our wedding including us and everyone stayed a week. We got there 2 1/2 days before the wedding and stayed another 4 days after. It was the BEST week of our lives.. everyone still raves about it.
Â
I didn't have any kids at our wedding.. but Las Caletas is very safe
Â
The food was REALLY good. And there is SO much of it! Everyone raved about how great the food was.
Â
Off the top of my head I cant remember how much hair and make up costed. I want to say it was $220 for mine... any other girls get theirs done that can remember more clearly?
-
Wow, that sounds really good!

Well, I would be thinking about your cake, wedding favors, seating arrangements, wedding party gifts (if you have a wedding party), a song list for the wedding and reception for the DJ, a Welcome Dinner if you want to have one, picking your flowers and decor if you havent done that already, how you want to do your hair and make up.. that kind of thing.
