Do you still have the royal blue lanterns?  Please let me know.  Also, where did you purchase them?

Has anyone purchased lanterns on ebay?  One posting on this thread had the seller's name but I can't find that particular one.  I found some other sellers who have great prices but I wanted to ask if anyone else purchased from ebay and were happy with the product. 

I'd be interested in going in on bulk lanterns but my wedding isn't until next July and I'm not sure how many I will need yet. 

Luvmoo - I LOVE the idea of your first dance as the lanterns are floating away!  That will make for an awesome picture!  I might have to borrow that idea!

So based on Silvia's response to luvmoo and posts from past Suites brides it looks like you can get a dance floor on the beach at the Suites but you can't at the Beach.  That's disappointing

But it's great to know they will allow the sky lanterns and will even provide lighters for them! 

I'd like to know the answers to the cigar questions too.  FI wants a cigar roller for the reception and we may do that as well.  Its his job to research that part but I can share the information when he gets it.  Let me preface that by saying my wedding is next July so I dont expect any information until next May at the earliest LOL. 

MrsDeloatch2Be - You looked stunning and I love your itinerary and setup.  I know you plan on posting a review and when you do can you please include where your cocktail party was in relation to the ceremony and bonfire?  I know they were all on the beach but was the cocktail party close the ceremony location and then the bonfire was on another part of the beach?  I'm wondering because I want to know if the bonfire was a bit of a "surprise" for your guests?  Also did you get a dance floor for the bonfire?  I know some of the girls had dance floors on the beach but I cant remember if they were at the beach or the suites (so I dont know if thats an available option at the beach - which is my real question).

I'm not getting married until next July but everytime I read a review or a "just got back" message I get excited as if I'm leaving tomorrow!!

Another question...

I'm also considering a bonfire, first question is will it be too hot (and will it be strange) to have a big fire in July?  Second, do they provide lighting (or does the moon offer enough light) if I wanted to do a dance floor on the beach?  I dont want it lit up like Christmas but I don't want it too dark either. 

I promise I'm not drinking....

Hey Past and Future IB Brides, does anyone know what time the Beach party starts and what they actually have at the party at IB Beach?  I beah party is on Thurs and I'm considering doing what one bride did and have everyone meet in the bar for a mini welcome reception and then we all go to the beach party.  Do they  have a band or a DJ out there and/or food and drink?  Just curious.  Sorry if I missed it in a previous post.

I'm also interested in releasing wishing lanterns so please post what you find out.

Has anyone used/know if we can release wish lanterns at the resort?  I would call and ask but figured it would be faster to ask you girls!

I love the idea of passing the starfish, I'm not until July 2012 but I will definitely participate.

I havent yet made a final decision on location but Iberostar Rose Hall is definitely a top contender.  I want my wedding sometime between July 1 and July 13 so I better get to deciding.  I like the idea of my guests staying at the suites and FI and I staying at the Grand.  I had that thought when I initally found the Iberostar complex so I'm glad to see it can be done (Thanks Jade28!).  Thanks for link and I will be reading and checking back in when I make my decision.

Wow you did a great job, those are fab!  Where/how did you get your stamps?  I'd like to do picture stamps myself.

I'm considering a beach wedding in Jamaica and am looking into an AI resort for our party but an off-site wedding ceremony and reception.  So I'm interested in coordinator and venue information as well.
