the vibe on isla is laid back, the sun sets over the SEA! rather than in playa del Carmen cancun etc where it is setting over your hotel roof.
whats not to love?
Avenida Hidalgo for night life. Fénix beach bar for live cuban and salsa bands right on the beach, that turquoise blue sea?
affordable. accessible. relaxing. lots to see and do. wedding, honeymoon and holiday of a lifetime all rolled into one!

so lots of questions on here and as Iknow not a lot of info out there.
we got married on isla mujeres at Zama, and we now live here on isla mujeres, so i have lots of local knowledge.
La Banda Sin Nombre are a good hire for a wedding band, often found playing at Faynes on av Hidalgo, they also have a FB page
wedding planners Sabina at Sundreamers, Tiffany at SunHorse, Juliette at Papillon. Maria at Isla Mujeres Weddings, Elba at Privilege Aluxes, all come highly recommended.Villa Rolandis has an in house co-ordinator Cynthia, who is lovely!
Casa de los Sueños, also have an inhouse planner called Jason.
we now have three churches on the island if you would like a church wedding and beach reception, One in the square in the centre, one looking out over the ocean opposite Mango Café and one in La Gloria
Locations to scout...
