I am a 2010 bride. Getting married April 19,2010 in Punta Cana at the Majestic Colonial. I'm so excited! I know the time will fly by.

My FI and I went to the Gran Bahia Principe Ambar last year and it was amazing. We paid $1500 taxes in. We are getting married at the Majestic Colonial in April of 2010. It is rated #4 of 93 hotels on Trip Advisor. You get a free wedding if you have 15 rooms and so far everything is going well. 3 other people I know have been married here and LOVED the place and the wedding. I hope this helps a bit....

My FI lost both of his parents and they are buried together. When we first started dating we talked about our families and I learned of his story. I also learned that he had never been to the grave site since either of their deaths. He had attended their funerals but had not been out to the grave. I would go out often and bring flowers throughout our relationship. I would never push him to go and figured that someday, on his own time, he would want to come along with me and one day he did. We then started going out together on special occasions. On the day after Mother's Day this year (2009) we decided to go out. When we got there my FI said that he has something he wanted to talk to me about in front of his parents. He then told me that i had changed his life and that he could never see his life without me. He also said that he really wished his parents could have met me. He then said that he wanted them to somehow be a part of what he wanted to talk to me about. He then asked me to marry him. It was very emotional and very touching. I had NO idea that he was going to ask me. We had never talked about it and had never even been into a jewellery store. It was an AMAZING surprise!

Hi all! I am getting married at the Majestic Colonial on April 19, 2010. I will be there from April 17th to April 24th. I have emailed the wedding coordinator Sandra directly. You can get a free wedding if you have 15 rooms. So, basically if you have 15 couples coming to be with you on your wedding day you can get your wedding for free. Sandra informed me that it would be everything that is included in the package Iscilley quoted in the first post.

Hi everyone! My name is Alli. Great site! I'm so excited to be gettting married on April 19th, 2010 in Punta Cana at the Majestic Colonial. We are travelling there on April 17th to April 24th (or maybe for another week) with Air Canada Vacations. So far we have 28 people travelling with us for our spectial day.
