They have a classic package for $850+the minister but you get a semi private reception for 15 people and a cake and flowers.
    Thanks Kelly.

Yeah I was looking into a la carte since i wont be needing the minister or judge (getting married at a local church in playa) figured this would be best for me but it seems that i will end up paying more if I went with a la carte!

Im still trying to get someone from the Royal to answer some questions! They take forever to get back! =(

Just saw your post asking about photographers. We have booked Nora Bohanon (you can google it) and I believe she runs an ad on this forum as well. She's stateside based, but has gorgeous pictures and very reasonable rates- less than what most of the good photographers based in MX charge. Anyone looking for a photographer still should def check her out.
Thank you! I will look into her!
  4. So today I finally get a response from the WP at RPC to discover that I need to pay $400 to rent the site as I will be having an "a la carte" wedding. I would really have appreciated if they told me this the first time I mentioned "a la carte" to them. Then i email them with questions and no reply! Im sooo frustrated i have so many questions and nobody to answer them! Sorry ladies just had to vent!

Grrrrr!!!! I got quoted I think $1,200. I wonder if this rule is just for this specific DJ or all in general?

    Thanks for the info.

I highly recommend not going through the resort for the DJ. DJ Doremixx (Ivan) and DJ Mania both are a lot less expensive if you book through them even with the extra $100 vendor fee. DJ Doremixx is $650 for 4 hours and $550 for the dance floor. I just told the resort we had a DJ that we wanted to use and they did not ask any questions.

How did you find this DJ? Were you able to get a sample of his music? I too am getting married at the Royal and was thinking of booking through the resort until I read your post!LOL!

If you still have their info I would greatly appreciate this!

    Thanks!
