  1. I just had my wedding on Nov 18 at Casa Salamandra and it truly was the BEST night of my life. I have not posted much on here before the wedding, but used this site to help me with so many things along the way. I am going to post pictures ( as soon as i can figure out howwink.gif ) and will write a full review on all the vendors we used. If anyone has any questions about anything, I'm happy to help. My family owns a condo down here and we are VERY familiar with everything.

    Happy planning!

  2. Hi Sandy,

I wish I went to go see Casa China Blanca, it also looks amazing! How far is it from Nuevo? Casa Salamandra is very expensive and they really restrict what you can and can't use. I didnt realize all of this until after we put down a deposit. Seems crazy to be so picky when the price is more than double what the other villas charge. Either way, its the location we wanted and it really is a unique venue. I am not using DD, they had already booked up 2009, and they recommended Tamara and Lucie from Incredible Weddings. They have been amazing so far. How about you?

  3. Sandy,

Did you try looking into Villa Del Palmar Flamingo?? My guests are staying there..ive been to Nuevo many times as my parents own a condo there, and it is by far the nicest resort ( other than grand velas) there are kitchen in all of the rooms, and many different options ( 2 bd room/3bdrm/studio etc). The grouds are amazing, and the pricing is great. There is an all inclusive option for $65/day usd, and a grocerie store on site with everything you could need. I was far more imperssed with this resort than villamagna, and really liked the different options for my guests.
