    MY DIY Wedding Fan/Game program

    My programs were a lot of fun to make. I wanted to make something a little different.I came across a great idea and made it my own. On the front of the program is the traditional stuff: Our names, weddding date, attendants, readers and a small blurb about family members that had passed. On the back was a wedding related game, I did three different ones (word search, word scramble, and word bubbles) the possiblites are endless for games.

     

    Then I used wide popsicle sticks or a tongue dispenser for the handle, first had fiance drill a 1/4 inch hole into each handle. Then attached to programs. Then I pulled ribbon through the hole and attached a golf pencil to the end of them.

     

    Just finished them last night so I will upload a photo soon. They look awesome! :)

    Stag n' Doe - to have, or not to have?

    We had a Stag & Doe, and we never heard one complaint. Since destination weddings are becoming so popular now, and stag and does are a timly tradition I see no problem in it. Friends and family will want to support you and share in all parts of your wedding. I say go for it..and you can even make it mexican theme. If you want some great ideas that worked and some that didn't let me know. Good luck! :)

    Hello...I understand where you are coming from because when we talked about having a destinaton wedding we knew that his sister and his grandparents would be unable to come...it took great thought but in the end this is what we wanted and we also decided to have the AHR to have everyone included. When we do our AHR his sister will be a big part of it and we will be having photos taken back here so she will be included in that. She was upset and first but then understood that this is something we both wanted and was happy for us! Good luck and remember to what is best for you and your FI! :)

    I have watched the Bachelor since it started this season and have yet to comment on this thread sad.gif Anyways I think Jake still has VERY strong feelings for Allie....just by the way he looked at her last nighthuh.gif I am not sure whats going to happen as they always try and throw us off with their previews...I wonder if we might have a repeat of last year?? Jake runs back to Allie? Who knows its so unpredictable sometime....but none the less fun to wathc! :)
