I don't know much about cigars, but I would recommend looking into the cigar shops in Ybor City... there are lots of them! One of the shop owners is bound to have some useful info on who you could hire.

A few years ago, a friend of mine used the P90 videos religiously and it paid dividends. When I met her she weighed 230-240lbs. After a lot of hard work (using nothing but the P90) and eating properly, she was able to drop down to 135lbs and was rock solid. She even won a trip to Hawaii through Beach Body’s success stories contest and was featured in one of their infomercials (yes, the people on them are real).
After seeing her results first hand… I purchased the P90X, but haven’t been able to use it because I’m not in good enough shape yet. But I will!
The P90X is definitely hardcore, so if you have back problems you should probably not try them. Good luck!!

amandalsu and binzer, please let us know how you like the Living Proof anti-frizz stuff. I've used other "serums" before, but all they did was make my hair look greasy and did absolutely nothing for the frizz. I watched the video on the Living Proof website and am intrigued. Would you recommend the product?

December will probably be the "safest" of the two months, but the occasional cold front could make a beach wedding a little too cool (although not unbearable... usually in the mid 50's). Daily highs are usually in the mid 70's, evenings in the 60's, and sky is absolutely beautiful... usually clear and blue. Chance of rain isn’t too bad... about 2 inches during December and usually only occurs just before a cold front comes through.
September will likely be on the hot/wet side... average daily highs are in the upper 80's/low 90's, evenings in the low 80's, and it’s pretty humid. It’s still hurricane season and will rain quite a bit... 8 inches for Sept on average. Afternoon thunderstorms are very common. The highest rainy months are July and August. Also, be warned... In 2004 we had a horrible hurricane season... 3 major hurricanes hit Florida in September alone! That's one almost every week!
Ideally, the best time for an outside wedding in Sarasota is November. Average daily highs are in the upper 70's, evenings in the upper 60’s/low 70’s, and rain usually isn’t much of a problem (about 2 inches/month). November is a lot like December only a little warmer and there aren't as many cold fronts.
As for the sunshine... Florida is called the Sunshine State for a reason. Unless there is a cold front coming through, a hurricane, or the typical afternoon thunderstorms, you can guarantee that the sun will be shining!
I hope this helps!!! Good luck! -

Ok… I’m putting the cart before the horse, but I wanted some suggestions on hairstyles (I’m not getting married till next year).
I have long naturally curly hair. It has a lot of volume, but really isn’t all that thick (at least not as thick as it used to be). See my profile pic.
I was wondering what other curly haired brides were doing for their hair for a DW. I’ve had some REALLY TERRIBLE experiences with local hairdressers and am freaked out by trusting my hair with someone I haven’t “tried out.†If I had a digital photo of my senior high school prom hair-do, 10-years ago, I’d show you. It was absolutely horrible and I should have demanded a refund!
My issue with hairstylists is NO ONE seems to know how to care for my hair. Fortunately, I’ve found stylists that are great at cutting it, but they all seem to have this “fabulous†new product that never works. Over the years I’ve found what works for me. I’ve been using Herbal Essences’ curly hair line of mouse for YEARS with great results (at the end of the day it does leave some “flakey-ness†but it controls without too much stiffness). I live in Florida and have to deal with humidity daily, so the islands’ climate shouldn’t be too much of a problem.
I was thinking that it would be in my best interest to do my hair normally (which involves natural air drying) before the wedding… then having the hairstylist work with a “stable hair baseâ€. I’m thinking a ½ up, ½ down thing (or some kind of variation) with a flower for shear ease, but would love something different. I ALWAYS wear my hair either down or in a ponytail.
This was a long winded post, but I’d appreciate any feedback. THANKS!

Hello All,
First the required stuff:
1. Name = Anne aka "Annabelle"
2. Wedding Date = Tentative. Late February / Early March 2010
3. Wedding Location = Tentative. Jamaica or Mexico
My fiancé and I got engaged Christmas Day 2008 and are planning a DW for next year. We will definitely be choosing somewhere in the Caribbean with economics and nice beaches as the main deciding points. Estimated guest count is 50-80 people… and no kids (teens are allowed though).
I'll be 28 in two-weeks and my fiancé (Tim) is 29. We're both engineers and live in Tampa, FL. I'm originally from Florida, but Tim is from the Chicago-land area. His family is huge and almost all live in IL... mine is pretty small and spread all across the US. We decided on a DW that way everyone had to travel, plus we've both always wanted to get married on the beach. We'll be doing two post-wedding receptions "back home" (Tampa, FL & Bourbonnais, IL) for those who can't make it. I'm thinking house party BBQs to save on costs.
As for our wedding style... we want a wedding that is simple and informal, yet elegant, and the reception should be more like a beach party (with plenty of refreshments) than a formal gathering. Neither of us care about the wedding cake... cupcakes work for me.
I look forward reading all the great advice this site has to offer.
Who will be using real touch flowers?

I'm using real touch flowers. I ordered my bridal bouquet, maid-of-honor bouquet, 2 small presentation bouquets (4 daisies each) for the mothers, 5 boutonniers, 4 x 2 daisies for centerpieces (just the flowers... the Jellyfish is providing the vases), and one hair flower from Shavon's Wedding Silks. Altogethor it cost me $227. They came out beautiful and I'm soooo happy with the quality of the flowers. Shavon is based out of Holiday, FL and will ship, but I live in Tampa so I picked them up myself. I'm still a little concerened with how I'm going to pack them without them getting smashed on the way to the DR.... lots and lots of tissue paper.
Good luck!!
