Good luck getting them to pay related moving costs if you do decide to switch. We were supposed to get married at Azul Fives, and demanded they pay for the difference for us to move to another resort outside the Karisma chain...they refused despite our (and our TAs) attempts over the course of two weeks. Finally settled on Sensatori because we couldn't have our guests absorbing any additional costs. So if they are unwilling to pay for our costs under circumstances that were THEIR fault, I have to say the odds aren't good for you choosing to move.

I still do not have 100% faith in Sensatori, but with less than three weeks to go, I'm beyond worrying too much about it and am determined to have a great time.

Has anyone planned a night out in Puerto Morelos for your guests? Are there many late night options there? We'll probably just end up staying at the resort, but I wanted to explore options.

Wow! I too was booked at Azul Fives (we are still trying to decide if we are staying with Karisma), but my guests were only paying $446 for 3 nights.

I have called Karisma and confirmed they will not be opening until November 2009. Not a happy camper right now...
