Wow that's interesting! From Calgary for 1 week was $2367 and 2 weeks was $3512. We booked through itravel 2000 but sunquest is the provider and nothing has been mentioned to us. We have 70 booked. We might have to dig into that a little further or do you think your aunt just pulled some strings with her connections?

Hi Albertabride, When you say you didn't have to pay for the trips because you had so many people, what exactly do you mean by that? Who did you book through?
-
You have been such a BIG help! Thank-you. I do have a couple more questions. Where on the resort is the beach gazeebo located? And which pool is the poolside reception held at? The smaller pool beside Mammee Bay restaurant? Also the beach party the Riu puts on Sat night? Where is it held at? Thanks Again!

Congratulations on your Wedding and Thank you so much for you review. I do have a budget question regarding the poolside reception, supper. We have approx 70 guests and I really like what I've seen of your pictures and the review about the privacy and would like to try and do the same. Right now we have the Seagrape booked for reception but I think changing it to poolside might be the way to go. Just looking for a break down in costs if you don't mind.

Does anyone know if there is a cost associated with the plantation restaurant. Due to our size of approx 65 people will we be required to pay for supper regardless of where we eat?
-
I would like a copy as well please? [email protected]

I bought a harmon kardon (looks like a boom box) at future shop for $199 and it pounds. Not being loud enough will not be a problem and you will always have it for around home.
-
Amagee, you can go to Future Shop or any electronics store and buy a small one for $200 and under. You may want one that is battery operated as well just in case.

Thanks drbrain. That menu looks pretty good. Although not sure it's worth the $50/per as we have around 65 guests.

I'm unable to open attachment, Does anyone know what is on the menu for poolside dinner?
-
Great Idea. Thank-you
