Hi there! We are actually getting married there in less than 2 months. The Grand Bay has been wonderful to work with. Yolanda is our wedding coordinator with the resort and has been helpful, responsive, and great about working with us on every detail. She normally responds to us within 48 hours of our email or phone call (and most of the time sooner than that). We rented the Meson (the private hotel) next to The Grand Bay and will have most of our guests staying there. I am very impressed with the service we have received. You will be treated as a VIP b/c they limit the number of weddings and events hosted there at one time. The only downside to the location is that there are limited days that the airlines fly into Manzanillo. Thur-Monday are the only days with flights coming in and out on Continental. We have 35-40 guests going. Our wedding is April 25th so if you need any more information just send me a private message and I'll be happy to send you any specific information that I have received.

Depending on the blue you could always do an orange or yellow...something that contrasts. Or you could possibly do a coral. I found these fabric prints and added it to my inspiration file b/c I am using blue as well.

If you wanted to do a more subtle color then a pale pink or yellow is always pretty. You can find flowers in all of these colors pretty easily for the centerpieces.

Black pearls are wonderful! They are sort of a gunmetal gray color actually. I wear mine a lot with anything from dinner dresses to suits at work. They make a fabulous gift. I gave pairs to my best friends when we graduated college.

Hey ladies! I have a gorgeous used size 10 Tomasina wedding dress for sale. I'll be honest and tell you that it is from my first wedding...I'm now planning my second. I held on to this one because it was so beautiful and just couldn't part with it. It has been altered to me...5'2" and I wore 3" heels. I bought it at Saks Fifth Avenue in 2000 and still have all receipts. It has been preserved (I won't even tell you what I paid for that b/c it is embarrassing). I think this would make such an incredible TTD because of the train. I can just picture it floating in the water. I have many, many pics. I have been asking $900 but am VERY flexible on the price. Basically, make an offer and it is yours. I have a cathedral length veil that was custom made to match it. It is ivory with tiny Italian silk edging. I am going to try to attach a pic.
