Hi! My name is Melissa and I have been engaged for 2 weeks today! I am so overwhelmed by all the choices, costs, and compromise it's not even funny. My fiance and I live in Texas, but his family is from Chicago and mine is from Indiana. I have always wanted to get married on a beach, but I never thought further than that. I feel like if I could only figure out where then I could get the ball rolling.
I definitely want a small, intimate wedding either on a beach or overlookng a beach. I don't want to do a couples only resort, but would prefer someplace that is adults only (16 years or older). I'm thinking all inclusive would be great and remove some of the stress. If anyone has any ideas I would LOVE to hear them.
We have determined that we are going to pay for the wedding and everything ourselves and in order to have enough time to save we have set our tentative date as Sept 19, 2009.
