Thanks for posting these! They are great! I love how Carol Ann has that beautiful courtyard with the pavers and grass! However, it looks as though it's not directly on the beach. I am still so torn!

Yet another awesome blog! I love it all!

This villa looks amazing! And it's great that it's so private.

What a lovely blog, Mishka!

Mishka, as usual, the wedding looked gorgeous!

So I remember reading a thread about a beautiful, intimate spa location in PV. It's up on a hill. I have searched everywhere and can't find it again! Does anyone know what this place is called? I know some people have done site visits there. From what I remember, it would be a wonderful place for the rehearsal dinner or the wedding!

You are so creative Mishka! I checked out Hacienda San Angel...it really is beautiful. I love how the chapel opens up to a view of the ocean. It's religious, but still with a natural element. I also love your "outdoor chapel" idea.
I spent some time viewing your galleries and I can see how you make such a wonderful event designer. Your events are absolutely gorgeous!!!

Thanks mishka! I will look into that!

Yes, I think he probably does have some suggestions. He has mentioned Cabo, which, to me, seems just as "touristy" as PV. Also, his sister-in-law lived in Cabo with her ex-husband. I really don't want to drag her there and bring up negative memories. The problem is:
He is Catholic (even though he doesn't attend church on a regular basis) and he sort of wants to get married in a Catholic church. I think Catholic churches (especially in Mexico) are gorgeous and I think Catholicism is a beautiful! But, when it comes down to it, I am non-denominational and would prefer to get married in nature.
I think he understands and he LOVES, LOVES, LOVES the beach, so I think it is the "next best thing" to him. In fact, he might even prefer it. He kind of swings back and forth on this issue. Of course, in a way, I feel guilty and don't want to pester him on locations. But I probably will once we get "officially" engaged. LOL!

Thank you! Thank you! You all are very sweet! I live in West Texas...kind of boring and dusty. LOL...

Thanks so much! I will definitely look into it! I have researched China Blanca also...it is beautiful, but you are right...it is very modern.
Can't wait to check these out! Gracias!

Okay!!! So, I have almost been deadset on Puerto Vallarta (maybe Villa Celeste , Villa Mystique or something along those lines). However, my fiance is from Mexico and says it's too "toursity" for him. Are there any locations nearby that are just as unique...maybe a private villa or spa...in Nuevo Vallarta or the surrounding areas? I don't really dig big resorts.
I've also considered Costa Careyes because it is AMAZING!!! But I think it's too far out considering the budget. Plus, I don't want guests to have to travel too far out from the airport.
Thanks in advance for responses!

This forum is so great....so much useful information! My name is Stephanie and I am actually not "officially" engaged yet. My boyfriend (even though we always call eachother "fiance") and I have been together for 4 years and we really want to get married in Mexico, which is where he is from. At first, I wanted Puerto Vallarta, but he doesn't really want PV. So we are thinking maybe Cabo or Tulum. We primarily want a place that isn't too "touristy". Anyhow, I can't wait to research this forum even further!!!
