i just watched the premiere last night and I still don't know wtf I was watching.  Very confusing.  I didn't get the whole fairies thing at all.  I'm hoping they start piecing things together soon. 

 

Bill looks better this season with his haircut and I think he's less pale than before.  He's still no Eric.

Sorry your mom bailed.  But like Kat said she's the one missing out and I think she's going to regret it one day.  You need to go with your friends and have a great time.  I know it's easier said then done but try to forget about your mom.

Amanda your in a tough spot because 1. people don't rsvp and 2. you kinda do need an idea since your getting villas.  Are you going to see a lot of the important people during the holidays?  If so I would just straight out tell them your situation about needing at least an informal headcount for the villas and then ask if they are going.  It seems like a lot of people no they can't go but are afraid to say it, i'm not saying in yoru situation but it seems the case for a lot of it.  So maybe stress to them, that you would completely understand if they can't go but you really would just like to know if they have decided.  Goodluck!

Things are going good with my little guy.  He's 8 months old already.  I can't believe how fast the time goes by.

 

 

I'm sorry things aren't going well.  I hope it gets better for you guys.

1. Don't give Fi's gparents another thought.  My grandparents couldn't come because of their age and I was fine with that, I actually do think that's a reasonable excuse.  But if they have no interest in your wedding then don't let it bother you.  That's their loss not yours. 

2. I personally think it would be nice if you sang happy bday and maybe had a little cupcake come out for the 12yo's bday at your wedding.  You don't have to have her cut her own cake.  Just a little something will really make her day and I'm sure years from now she'll be talking about how cool it was to celebrate her bday at your wedding.  She's 12 so i'm sure her bday is the most important day of the year. 

3. I wouldn't change your songs.  You picked those songs for a reason and you like them.  Who cares if someone used them at their wedding.  And if your FI has a problem with it then tell him to come up with new song ideas.  I'm sure he'll agree to keep the ones you have after that.

4. Forget about the people who aren't coming to your wedding.  Yeah it sucks and its dissappoiting but don't take it personally.  Just focus on all the people who care enough to be there for your special day and F the rest.  Trust me they will be so jealous when everyone gets back from your wedding and are talking about how great the trip was and how much fun they missed out on.

5. And if your FI isn't helping then you need to ask him to help with certain things.  Just tell him your overwhelmed and you need him to pick out music, mail invites, etc whatever you think he can handle and take off your plate.  Some guys don't want to get in your way so they just step back and let you do everything.  He may not realize that you want his help so you need to directly ask for it.

Good for you that your not worrying about it. Trust me no one is going to take any attention away from you and really when you think about it everyone is going to congratulate them for about 15 mins and move on. She'll be the only one staring at her ring the whole time. Its cool if he'd wait till after your wedding like you want him too. Awesome that your fi told the BM and let him know what you guys wanted. I'm sure he'll respect that and wait till after.

I was so stressed out over wedding planning and a ton of stuff before the wedding and the moment the plane landed in Punta Cana and i stepped out my attitude totally changed. I literally didn't give a sh*t about anything i was stressed out about for months and months. It was such an awesome feeling. I bet you'll feel the same way.

that sucks you drove 2 hrs to BM and they didnt have what you specifically asked for over the phone. that was a total waste of a day for you. But yayay for finding your dress at Kleinfelds, i love that show and would love to go there one day with someone looking at a dress. It was probably good that i never went there because when i have too many choices I get really indecisive. I'd be there for 3 days trying stuff on. Did you post a pic of the dress you ended up getting on the dress thread?

Car i'm glad everything went so great. I love my Lasik and i have never regretted getting it done for one second, not even the seconds it took me to write the check to pay it off. lol

Jo read your post about going back to work after the baby. I second Andrea’s “people need to shut the f up”. Some people think they need to give you an opinion on everything and how you raise your child is none of their business. I work and like trish said, I think its better for me and my son’s relationship. I’m a better mom for it and I do think he gets a lot from being at daycare. Some people are terrific stay at home moms but I wasn’t one of them.

 

Shea I love Mya. I like how Jada and Mya sound together. Are you going to wait till she’s born this way you can see what name feels right?

 

Update on me. Gavin was born on Feb 28th. I ended up having to get a csection which sucked but I didn’t have a choice. But it all ended up being worth it. I love Gavin to bits. He has the greatest smile and is developing his own little personality already.

Hey girls havent been on here in forever. I get emails with updates so i do lurk but never get a chance to comment. Let me know how you girls make out on your dress hunts. My younger sister is getting married, not decided on a date but i figured i'd make a list of different dress places she can check out. I only went to 2 places and got my dress at the 1st place so i got lucky that i found "the one" so fast.

 

Also where are you girls getting bm dresses from?

 

OMG Theresa not only are you getting married at the PPR like me but Bridal Manor is where i got my dress from. Did you find anything there? Not sure if any of you girls get the entertainment books with coupons but if you do check it for coupons for dresses. Believe it or not in the 2008 South Jersey one it did have a coupon for bridal manor for when i got my dress and bm dresses, think it was $25 off, i know its not a ton if your buying an expensive dress but its something and since i ended up buying my gown and the bm dresses it saved me $75. I have a 2010 S Jersey entertainment book at home, if anyone wants me to check for the coupon let me know and i can mail it out to you.

 

How did you like the Bridal Outlet in Garfield? I've heard about it but never checked it out.

 

Tracy goodluck for your wedding on Friday. I hope you loved the PPR as much as I did. I want to go back soooo bad. But now that we have a 4 month old our next vacay will probably be disney world (i've never been *Gasp*) and probably not for awhile. My sister is considering Florida as a wedding location so maybe that will be our next vacay. But who knows right now she's not really making any decisions.

I feel great. I know i'm lucky because i really havent had any complications. Just small stuff like heartburn, swelling, insomnia, cant tie my shoes, etc. nothing major. that's why i want him to be late.
