Congrats! Woohoo for another Vegas bride!
-
I just realized that I have some beautiful scrapbooking paper I got for Mother's day. I think I will use that to make guest book pages. Thank you posting your page, I would have never thought of it, otherwise!

Have I mentioned our wedding is stinking huge? You can see the guest count in my signature. We also have a huge bridal party. 8 BM's and 9 GM. Luckily, I have all the gifts purchased for my BM's. Well, actually, I need 2 more charms (I'm giving them charm bracelets and travel bags).
I am DIY a lot. I already did my invites, and they are out. I still have favors, programs, and OOT packages to put together...

Thanks, everyone! I am so far behind on what needs to get done, though! Although, today I booked our rental car (we're driving there and back), so that's a weight of my chest.
Tammy--We are pre-honeymooning there, lol. We have 2 kids (4 and 19 months), so we're driving down there with my 17 year old brother the Monday before. He's going to watch the kids for us, so we can go do stuff at night, and we'll do family stuff during the day. After the wedding, we're driving to Disneyland for a couple days. We're going to take a real honeymoon, either to Vegas or Mexico, sometime next year.

Ok, I have the ceremony and reception booked. We made our own silk flowers, we're doing our own music, we booked a photog. That's about it, though. My BM's have their dresses ordered, they should be in next month. We haven't gotten the guys measured for their tuxes, none of our moms have dresses, my daughter doesn't even have her flower girl dress. I am a serious slacker bride!

It looks great!! I was planning on buying from the Guestbook store, but now I may try my hand at doing it myself...

Our wedding is in Las Vegas, and we live in Northern California, so it's a 3 hour plane trip or a 9 hour drive to get there. It's not a huge strain on our guests, and I already know a few want to buy us gifts. We are registering, because we will be having 2 bridal showers, and I have already been told some people will want a registry to buy from.

You did an amazing job! They look terrific!

It's funny, I posted these on the other message board I am on and the answer's were completely opposite. It is just a women's forum, not focused on weddings, but most of the women there have gotten married in the last 4 years or so. It's really interesting that as much as ya'll like them, they hate them! lol

I really like that idea!
-
I was totally thinking about spraying glitter on them!

Thanks everyone, and thanks for the links! those are really neat!
If we used these centerpieces, we'd just have one large one per table. And we'll have 8-10 people rounds, not the long tables.
-
Thanks, everyone. I know this centerpiece isn't for everyone. I have a tendency to like things that are borderline cute/crazy or funky/fugly. I appreciate all the input, even if you don't like it. I want to hear what people think, good or bad.

Our STD's went out about 11 months in advance. However, I know NO ONE has booked their trips yet, so we are sending out our invitations in the next week or two. So, 3.5 months in advance for us. We are expecting between 120-150 people.
-
We used zazzle, too, for our wedding invotations stamps. I think we spent $230 for about 280 stamps. It was expensive, but we DIYed the invites and the stamps are SO cool.
-
Awww, thanks Lizzy! They came out better than I expected!
And, thanks Susan. I don't think June should be too early for invitations to go out.
-
I just ran them through my Canon laser jet printer.
I need to get my invitations out in the next couple weeks, because our hotel is starting to book up. I've already had people ask if we have sent them yet.
-
Thanks, everyone! we sent out STD's in November, but I know almost no one has booked anything. So, hopefully actual invitations will motivate them. I can't wait to get them into the mail!
We ordered gold envelopes for our RSVP's. I think it will be so fun to check the mail everyday for "golden tickets", lol!

Thanks! All the cardstock and the envelopes are on Stardreams paper, so it is all very shimmery.
-
Thanks, everyone! I got the bride and groom cards for free as a gift from a friend, and I just loved them. So, I decided to do a vintage glamor/sparkle theme based on them. I made 100 of everything. The invitation supplies totaled about $225, including glue, double stick tape and the crystals. Our custom postage is not included in that.

I just finished putting together invites for my Vegas invites. I did everything myself and I am really happy with how they turned out. How early did you send your invites out? We are planning on putting them in the mail next week, so 16 or 17 weeks in advance.
I used Stardream cardstock for everything but the ivory invitation card, so everything shimmers. The inner envelopes are red, and the outer envelopes are opal, and they sparkle, as well.

I have been so terrible! I haven't posted in forever. To be honest, I am hating wedding planning. We're less than 2 months away and I am so sick of it... I should spend more time on the boards, maybe it will get me motivated...
