I personally like Kendra, then Mya, then Jenna. I like Jada and Kendra together.
She is gettting big- although she has always been big. She is in the 100th+ percentile for her height. (and weighed 9lbs. 14 oz. when born)
I am just struggling with getting things ready this time around. I have the nursery painted and bedding bought, but now am second guessing it all and have new stuff ordered where I will have to repaint! I did do this with Jada too! Oh, gotta love the hormones! (I think it's the hormones )
We are having a hard time with names... that's why I came back to the board. I just can't settle on anything and I feel like I am running out of time. I only have 3-4 weeks to decide! -
Hey ladies...
Once again it has been forever since I posted! I am looking for your opinions... I am due in a couple weeks with my second girl and can't decide on a name. My first child is Jada Marie- who is 17 months. The names we have as of right now for this baby are:
Mya Elizabeth
Jenna Elizabeth
Kendra Elizabeth
But we can't settle on one! What do you think of them/ which one do you like best Thanks for your help!

Hey ladies....
It has been forever since I have posted, so I don't even know most of you.
Anyways, I am wondering if any of you have looked at the Chinese baby gender predictor, and if so, was the predicition right? I don't believe in stuff like this, but coincidently enough, it has been right for everyone I know!
Please let me know if your results were right or wrong!

Not to scare you.. but I went a week past my due date, and Jada was 9 lbs. 15 oz.! She measured big pretty much throughout the entire pregnancy though. I ended up going into labor 2 days before my induction date.
Just want to say congrats to all the ladies on here. Jada is almost 6 months old! Time flys twice as fast after the baby is born- let me tell you! -
I was very gassy! I couldn't control it either sometimes!

Thanks everyone... she is a doll. We couldn't be happier!

Hi ladies...
I have to be very quick- but am happy to report Jada Marie Selly was born Friday February 6th at 11:01 am. I went in around 12:30am because my water broke, contractions started about 1:00am, around 7:00am I broke down and ordered the epidural, started pushing at 9:00am, and she was born at 11:01am.
Now, for the crazy part! She was 9 lbs. 14 oz. (at birth- thank goodness for the epi. ) and 20.5 inches long! She was a big baby! She is very precious and beautiful, and we could not be happier!
I am uploading a picture now.. so it should be on here soon.
Hope all is well!
CONGRATS Mo! Sounds like you had a smooth delivery! He is adorable!

My bad.... Sorry Ladies, I should have never brought it up. I honestly just wanted to know what other people were doing since I am so in the dark about the subject!

She supposedly swept my membranes today, but being only dilated to 1, I don't think it will work. It didn't feel any different than a normal exam either for me.
-
Congrats Mo! I am jealous! So much for nothing going on!!
I just got back from the doctor and I am only dialated to 1, and 50% effaced.
So, I go in for stress tests Friday, and if all is well I get induced on Tuesday- that is if it doesn't happen naturally before then!
-
My doctor doesn't want to induce, so she is going to let me go until the 10th. I am not happy about it since I have been done with work since last Monday, but I have been told that if I should wait and see if it will happen naturally since it is usually an easier birth. I have heard that when we get induced the labor lasts longer? This is my first, so I have no idea! I just know I can't talk my doc into inducing sooner.

I haven't got any stretch marks on my belly, just a few on my bottom. However, I have gained 48 pounds!
-
That is my 39 week belly photo... as you can see, I don't think I have dropped at all!

Anything happening with you Mo? Not with me... I went to the doc on Tuesday and same as the last visit- high cervix- no dialating. She said she wouldn't induce me until the 10th either!

I can't believe I'm planning my son's first birthday party already! Where does time go? He's so active right now and I'm exhausted chasing after him, but other than that I'm really loving this age. Pregnancy is going good. She just started kicking me a lot which is good because I forget I'm pregnant a lot of the times. It's sad when people ask me how far along I am and I have no clue. You really realize with your second pregnancy how you have no time to really be pregnant! I've already started on her room and I'm really excited to see everything completed.
How's everyone else feeling?
The second preganancy is much different.... I don't think about it 24/7 like i did the first, and it just flew by! Which is a good and bad thing. I am just trying to enjoy my time now while it is just us and Jada since I know things are going to be extra busy soon!
