Its an adults-only, but depending on the age of the kids, their other properties might be appropriate, http://www.karismahotels.com/ Unfortunately I haven't been to the resorts you mentioned, but I have also been to the Moon Palace and it is family friendly. When I visited there, they said there was seaweed but they cleaned the beach each morning and I didn't see any during my visit.
