For anyone that has had an outside hair and make-up team come to the hotel, is that also subject to the vendor fee? I've seen people mention the vendor fee applying to an outside DJ, band, and florist, but i haven't seen any mention of the vendor fee on hair/make-up. I'm assuming it does, but just wanted to double check. Thanks!

We blocked 35 rooms, since we invited 80 guests. 5 ocean front, 22 ocean view and 8 tropical view. Not sure of any strategic moves, we just booked more ocean view since we were only allowed 5 ocean front and we thought our guests would prefer being above the 1st floor (and it was a difference of only $100 for the week). Thanks everyone! I sent an e-mail to Pilar today to request the DJ's information so I can get in touch with him sooner rather than later. We plan on just using the resorts DJ. We are in the process of booking a photographer, still weighing the pros and cons of bringing one from home versus hiring someone local. So many decisions to make!!

Hi guys! How far in advance did you book one of the resorts DJ's and hair/makeup? I still have plenty of time, Nov. 17th next year, but want to make sure I don't wait too long. I have 6 bridesmaids and want to give them the option to get hair/makeup done along with me and our moms. Hopefully that's not too many people for the spa to handle that day!
