Ok where to start ....  I actually stumbled across this amazing company.  I had started to google the photographers at the resort where we would be getting married and found these beautiful photo's of a wedding held at the same place.  Just by chance, I had never heard of Del Sol until then...  I'm so happy that we used them.

So from the moment I filled the online form in just a mere 6 weeks before our wedding I couldn't help to feel nervous.  I had looked through every single photo on Del Sol's website and every picture spoke a thousand words, regardless of what it was.  I feared that they would be too expensive or fully booked.  Within a day or two I had a response, asking to fill in a form to get a feel for what we wanted as a couple and a family.   I typed away and then within a day or two again I received a quote and a list of 4 photographers to choose from.  There was $600 between the photographers and due to budget we went for the ones that were slightly cheaper... Do not think that this would reflect on the service or talent.  As you will see that all of Del Sol's photographers are extremely talented and bring there own flavour but all have a beautiful way of telling your story in a similar way.  So pick the photographer that you can afford and feel the most connected to through their photographs.  You will not be disappointed, but probably like us will find it really difficult to choose which talented photographer to pick.

The wedding day -  

Debroh who was the lead photographer was on time and friendly.  She bought her side kick Melissa who is another talented photographer....  Now in my opinion these ladies were hard working, talented and worth every single penny.  We were a family and a wedding party of just 4, yep just the 4 of us !  My husband and I are not familiar with posing for the camera and can feel quite awkward at times.  Debroh and Melissa put any nerves at ease almost immediately.  When we had the ceremony I can barely even remember them being there, they were like ninja's... We loved every moment of the wedding ceremony and this is captured by the photographs.  A massive thank you to both Debroh & Melissa you are both wonderful photographers.  

I would say out of 250 photographs for 3 hours coverage time, only about 5-10 photographs I'm not crazy about.  Now this is NO REFLECTION at all on the photographers this is a personal (vanity thing). The photographs are beautifully taken.

ADVICE -  If you can make sure your wedding ceremony is about 4pm, the lighting is better and we tried too push for this but unfortunately another wedding was already booked.  I have to say that Debroh and Melissa still worked the lighting to our advantage with changing the location and adding lamps etc.  

Email correspondence before and after the wedding was very prompt and I never once felt that I was alone. Ael was my main contact and she was so sweet and helpful every step of the way.  Within 2 weeks we got 5-10 photographs on email as a sneak peak- which we printed 4 of on to canvas for our UK wedding reception.  Which looked great and our guests really loved them.  Another 4-6 weeks we had more photographs (60) to look through and we was eager to see the rest.  Now 8-9 weeks after the wedding we have received all photographs and couldn't be happier with the end result.

We're now looking forward our next visit, so that we can have some portrait photographs taken on the sunny seashores of Mexico.
