  1. Thanks for your feedback @@BecomingaRiggio! It looks like it was a wonderful party! Congrats again Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Congrats @@BecomingaRiggio! Thanks for sharing! I haven't considered Plaza Zocalo until you mentioned it. You said it's more intimate? It looks so big in your photos! I'm currently booked at Zavas but I'm interested in a more intimate space, especially if its also cooler. I'll have 3 or 4 tables so I don't want the space to look too empty. It looks like Zocalo comfortably fits a lot more tables from your pics. How did you find it more intimate? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Thanks for the useful info @@murmel! My wedding is at Plaza Zavas in the evening and my poor toddler nephews already have bad reactions to bug bites at home. I'll stock up repellant for them
  4. Thanks @@carrieandsam! I think I'll offer my guests repellant wipes or spray. If I hear an answer from the resort I'll post here
  5. Does the resort do anything to repel bugs & mosquitos? I was thinking of bringing repellant candles for the tables and providing bug sprays and wipes for my guests. I'm from a hot, humid area, and that's what I would do if my wedding was outside at home. Lots of brides have mentioned bringing sunblock for their guests but I haven't found anything about this.
  6. Does anyone have a suggestions or personal experience about smaller receptions & entertainment? I originally planned on the flamenco guitar for 45 min then a DJ for the rest of the night. Unfortunately, not many of my guests are going to make it & my party is smaller than I planned. I'm worried a DJ is overkill & may end up being awkward for a couple dozen guests. I know its mostly a personal choice but I'd love to hear any anecdotes or opinions about entertainment. Thanks!
  7. Hello! I've been following this board for a while now but this is my first post Many of my guests don't drink alcohol and a large part of the cost for all-inclusive is the alcohol. They don't mind paying the full price but really why should they? I thought I'd at least look into it. Does Karisma offer any packages for non-drinkers? Someone told me its called the "European package" at other places, not sure why. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
