Can any past brides comment on the Akumal beach aisle? Is it deep sand or is there a firm path to assist with walking? Although I had planned to go barefoot, my small height isn't cooperating and I now feel as though wedges are my only option.

Any thoughts on whether or not a bride should be barefoot for the beach ceremony? Our ceremony is scheduled for 4:00 pm and I'm leaning towards barefoot, but not 100%...

Definitely providing OOT bags for our guests as well. My big question though is... How do people bring all this stuff to the resort? Or do you provide it to guests ahead of time? My plan is to bring it in either a duffle bag that may have to get checked en route to Mexico, but something that can be folded up and brought back in my suitcase on our way home. Is this how others have done it as well or am I making things too complicated for myself? Thanks in advance for your help!

Does anyone know how the Bahia Principe resort handles wedding guests that aren't staying at the resort? Is this even possible or has anyone had any experience with this? Thanks for your help!

Thanks to all who have contributed to this forum and continue to keep it up-to-date and the absolute best resource for Bahia brides-to-be! I can't wait for my big day, just under a year from now in March 2016. Most of my questions have been answered already, but there are 2 things that are still unclear: 1. Is there a rehearsal for the ceremony the day beforehand for guests and is a pre-planned rehearsal dinner common? 2. We will be having a symbolic ceremony. Would we be able to have one of our dear friends 'officiate'? Thanks to all the Bahia bridal pros out there keeping the rest of us brides-to-be sane! Your help is MUCHO appreciated!
