Hello Kayla, I was a wedding coordinator at Ocean Coral so I think i can give you some advice. Regarding your question about the privacy at the restaurant, as you know other guests have access to the restaurant but usually they place the wedding tables on the sides so you can have a little more privacy and guest are not crossing between your tables. For the dances other brides have rented the lounge terrace to have their first dance, father-daughter, mother-son and an extra time for dancing. The difference between the symbolic and civil wedding is that the civil one is performed by a judge and its legal and the symbolic by a minister and is not legal. During the civil ceremeny the judge pronounce the name of bride, groom and witnesses and they are asked for their signatures and finger prints. In the symbolic ceremony the minister gives a speech about marriage, it can be spiritual (speech about love, family, friends) or religious (speech about God, faith). Hello, I used to work back at Ocean Coral as a wedding coordinator so I can help you with some information. You have to book at least 3 nights at the hotel so the dj can be considered as a guest otherwise you will have to pay the outside vendor fee.... You can also ask Areli the prices for the hotel DJ it might be cheaper than hiring an outside DJ. If you have any more questions just let me know
