Hi there. I'm getting married next month and I have 3 bridesmaids. I tried letting them choose their own dress and while they acted excited about the idea it turned out they dreaded the thought. I gave them plenty of inspirational photos of the color palette to stick to but no one was pulling the trigger on purchasing a dress. I ended up finding something for them to wear. Instead of a dress I chose a mint pencil skirt and white blouse. Everyone has just finally received all of their attire. Cutting it close! While I was trying to be easygoing and let them find something they loved, it ended up being so stressful for everyone involved. The convertible dress sounds like a good idea! Then they can wear it how they choose. You can also have your friends go to a tailor and get themselves measured so that you can use their measurements to order a dress for them since they are all so far away.
