Hi Angela.. nice to hear someone else is having a civil ceremony. It was super important to us to see this through as well! I am not sure whether it will be more or less romantic given it's going to be translated from Spanish to English. I've seen a few videos and haven't been too sure about that, but the most important thing is we will be Mr and Mrs McKay from that moment on. We haven't started dealing with the paper side of things yet so have a lot to get through!

@@kellymiller hi kelly.. sorry it has taken me so long to reply, was waiting on my date being confirmed. We are having a civil ceremony at 4pm! I was told that the minister tends to take bookings for mornings so when I completed the reservation form at my travel agents, I made sure that we requested an afternoon time.. guess we got lucky! x

I could only find a choice of 2 - Anna Nuet and Krystie Ann. I am going to book Anna. I do think she is pricey ($170 for bride hair and make up) but her hair ups are amazing! Hope you find one okay

I stayed in Dreams Palm Beach back in 2009 and it was simply amazing, so much so that we didn't even look at other hotels when booking our wedding! It is an incredible place, the grounds are beautiful and the service is outstanding. Good luck

Hi I am getting married in June 2015 and was hoping to use Krystie Ann, but she leaves DR 3 days before I am getting married I asked her for her price list in January 2014 and this was her prices for 2013-14: $65 hair $70 make up $120 hair and make up $20 lashes $10 airbrush application I hope she is available for you, her work is amazing!!! We will be getting married at DPB in June 2015. We stayed there in 2009 so looked no further when choosing the hotel, it is a beautiful place!! We chose the garden gazebo, because it can be pretty windy on the beach! Pool side location for the reception Is anyone out there have a civil ceremony? Hello ladies, new on here! I am sooo pleased to have signed up as this looks like the best place to get all the info you need! Me and my fiancé will be getting married in Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana in June 2015. We stayed at this hotel in 2009 and had the time of our lives, it is a beautiful resort and we cannot wait to go back! I need some help, can anyone recommend a great hair and make up artist over there? I was in contact with Krystie Ann for quite some time as I planned on booking her but unfortunately, she will be gone a few days before I am due to marry I have done some research but nothing is popping out, please let me know if there is someone with super talent out there! Thanksss x
