  1. I'm procrastinating right behind you, "sigh"... I'll be ordering my dress in the next day or so and I started ordering the things I need for my welcome bags. I feel like I have tons of stuff to do and time is justa flying.
  2. For anybody that was looking for disposable cameras, I was thinking about ordering these wedding themed 1's from http://www.efavormart.com/weddingcameralot.aspx I do have a #hashtag tag that I will be giving my guest for digital pictures, but I thought a disposable camera would be a fun throw-back idea. I plan on having a pic contest where everyone turns their camera back into us and we develop them and send them to our guests via email and pick a winner for best pics. It's so easy to good pic now when you can review, delete and repeat, but let’s see how good one can do with no review. Plus now a days you can get prints at 10 cents a pop and sometimes less, so cost shouldn't be much. And I think this would be a nice way to bring back memories when guests receive their pictures weeks after the wedding.
  3. Here's what I did.. Got the labels off of Etsy. Put the bottles in a nice gift bag along with a bridesmaid contract lol.. My girls loved it
  4. Hello all, I wanted to share my semi-DIY passports with yous.. I say semi because I didn't actually print and assemble them myself. I started with one of the templates I found on this board, but I felt the passport was a little to plain and I didn't have time to find and add a lot background images. So I ended up buying a template from Vanessa at weddingpassports.com for $15. The template is awesome and I was able to implement the stamps from the other template into this one and they cam out perfect. If you're not a crafty or DIY person I recommend this company. They have great customer service and will answer all your questions along the way. Their print and/ or assembly service is also bonus. I originally intended on just letting them print the pages and I do the assembling myself, but I said wth and let them do the whole job. Another plus is I got them in mail in less than a week once I sent them my finished template. Sorry for the repost, I posted the previous one in the wrong section.

  6. This is the look i'm going for as well. But the pants will be gray and ties will be magenta. I'm also thinking about doing bowties instead of regular ties.
  7. It's sad, but I feel the same way sometimes :-/... Oh and we're wedding date twins, YaY lol!
  8. I think you can definitely plan your wedding with a $5000 budget and keep the guest cost below $1500. It just depends on what type of resort you're looking for. I'm getting married at Gran Caribe Real resort and my guest are paying $464-$572 for 4 nights (depending on the room type) and the flight is between $4-$500. I'm having my reception on a boat which includes a DJ, food and drinks. I'm spending a little less than $5000 for 50 people. I estimate to spend about $5-5500 once I include my cake and photographer. You can also look into having semi-private reception vs. a private reception to cut some cost.... I used Liberty Travel for booking, but my guest also have the option to book on their own if they find it cheaper. I prefer that they book though my TA, but hey I can't force them lol. I'm just happy they're coming... It's doable but you really have to do your research... Hth.
