And then, a few hours later, my guests and I are going to be going OFF THE RESORT PROPERTY with Alain Hottat of Brian Nejedly Photography (Brian is an American Photographer that lives in Ocho Rios, so you don't have to pay travel fees -- he's already there and he's been a DREAM to deal with so far! Total professional!) Alain will be taking us to both a beach location and a falls location to do some portrait shots with our guests in my ceremony dress (and then I'll change for a TTD session, just my FI and I) right around sunset. And I think you will be shocked by how reasonable his prices are....check out his site at Jamaica Wedding Photographer - Brian Nejedly. Hope that helps! This is a GREAT idea!! His pics on his website look amazing! Thank you for this brilliant suggestion!!
  2. Hey all! I'm getting married at Sandals Grande Riviera on March 28, 2015. Feel free to post your suggestions & helpful tips regarding the resorts, ceremony, reception, and/or planning! Has anyone found a timeline fitting for a sandals destination wedding?
  3. As far as photographers go, we decided to try to find a photographer or friend out of South Florida and offer to pay for accomodations and airfare in exchange for photography. Sounds like a good deal to me! I know that Sandals won't allow outside photographers, but from the other posts I've read, there's nothing they can do as long as they are a paying guest of your resort. This might be something to consider. I'm from here in San Francisco too, so to find someone out here to fly out would prove to be a waste of money! For entertainment we decided against a photographer and chose one of the bands to add to the beach atmosphere since we plan on having our reception on the beach as well. When it comes time for our dance and such, the band will simply stop, and we can play our ipod
