Hey Jolene, That's how I found the hotel, on Trip Advisor..it really helps to see what other people say about it and their own pictures that they posted...it makes it more realistic. I also talked to some family members and they say that sometimes the 5* hotels aren't that much of a difference (except for the price) compared to less star hotels. I'm going through a Travel Agency, because that is how I am going to get more deals depending on the number of guests attending....we'll see what else she comes up with... When I see pictures of weddings in the Dominican or Mexico, they seem to be more professional/more exotic looking. I don't know if that depends on the package you choose or the location ???

Are there any reviews for hotels in Varadero, aside from Iberostar Varadero and Paradisus?? I also found Melia Las Americas, any reviews? The wedding is planned at the end of March, beginning of April 2014..the exact date hasn't been set yet....Your help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hello to all! Our wedding date hasn't been set yet, but I am wondering about reviews for the IB Varadero hotel for a wedding end of March, beginning of April?? Any other hotel suggestions in the Varadero area? It's so difficult to choose one, especially because I haven't been to any hotels in that area....?? Greatly appreciate all suggestions! Aleksandra

Can someone please provide me with the list of documents that are needed before arriving in Cuba? Do documents vary depending on the country your coming from or are they all the same???? Thanks!

I've just signed up so it's my first time writing a reply...I'm planning my wedding in Cuba next year (Feb/March) but haven't figured out where and what hotel is the best...I've had, and been to Cuba before but would like to get some more input from ladies who have already got married in Cuba to hear their experiences and suggestions. It will be a beach wedding, with around 40-50 guests. Thanks for your help!

Hello! I just signed up and have seen some interesting comments about destination weddings. I'm also planning my wedding next year (Feb/March) haven't set a date yet, in Cuba.
