  1. Hi ladies, I just wanted to give you a quick update, the Canon Pixma MG2220 I purchased did great for my passport invites. I used metallic cardstock and regular metallic paper from paperandmore. I did end up having to purchase a second color cartridge but well worth it. I printed about 80 invitations, 1 cover and 2 sheets, so an 8 pg booklet just to give you an idea of the amount of work. Good luck to anyone still looking for a printer!
  2. This is a great idea!! I so desperately wanted to bring my cat, I will have to steal this idea. Thank you for sharing!!!

I think it may have been mentioned but depending on the color paper you choose you may have to adjust the colors on your invite to make up for it. I have not yet done bulk printing, just ordered the papers and cardstock so I can begin printing my passport invites. So I can't tell you how it will perform in the long run but so far the sample pages looked great.

I was wondering if three colors is too many but I feel a lot better after reading the meanings!
  5. Hey ladies, if you're still in the market for a printer, I just purchased this one from Walmart. It's $30 and you can choose a 8gb usb drive or pack of paper. I opted for the paper. Just know that the printer does not come with a cable to connect to your computer, but that's normal for most printers. If you spend $45 it's free shipping to home! I don't have a Walmart conveniently located around me, would have to drive there so that's a great option. Just added a few other home items that I needed anyway =) Many brides on the forum recommend the Canon pixma higher end models I think the mx892? But I'm hoping this one will still get the job done. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Canon-PIXMA-MG2220-All-in-One-Inkjet-Multifunction-Printer-w-Bonus-Accessory-Value-Bundle/24457082?affillinktype=10&dest=9999999997&sourceid=11082487773625783684&veh=aff&wmlspartner=lw9MynSeamY
  6. Unfortunately I need to find them all again! So far I downloaded the how to make a logo powerpoint. I haven't had as much time as I would like for wedding planning. =( If you ladies find any do let me know as well!
  7. Congrats!! The templates really are a life saver!

We both like Costa Rica and Dominican Republic we are just trying to figure out which one will be easier for our guests to travel to. That's a good point, depending on where you are from, there may not be as many flights to Costa Rica. I'm still waiting to see when they'll open up more. Liberia only recently became a popular destination. Most people still fly to San Jose.
  9. This one is tough, I loved Jem! What is your favorite candy?
