Hi girls, I am also having the semi-private dinner and booking the wet bar for our reception. We will be having cake, speeches and our first dance during our reception. We are not getting a DJ and just using our own music to save on costs. I went to a wedding in Mexico a few weeks ago and they booked a DJ and the music was great, but I didn't even know there was a DJ. As long as you have good music, good friends and some booze, I'm sure everyone will have a good time

I am currently in the process of booking my wedding for April 16th, 2014. We have guests leaving from Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and Toronto. We currently only have our quote for Newfoundland and it is approximately $1800. I feel like Toronto is usually cheaper. If you do end up booking your wedding, I will see you there
