  1. February 26th, we are staying at the Barceló Maya Colonial and we will have 41 guests. Can't wait!!
  2. Thanks for all the great tips! I have started filling up my OOT bags, so far I have insulated tumblers with straws (end of season sale at superstore!), custom door knob do not disturb signs, beach towels and flip flops for my bridesmaids only, glow sticks for the kids, and our bags we got at target(for 59 cents each!! honestly for that price I didn't care what colour they are...they don't say target or anything!), My mother in law bought sky lanterns for the guests to send off after the reception, but our resort will not allow this...so I guess they can just take them home. We will give everyone a welcome letter with an engagement picture. My Fiancé likes the idea of the hangover kits so I think we will add those as well. I'm still not sure if it will fit all into my one suitcase...I'm thinking I may have to bring a second one.
  3. Yes I have come across the Barcelo threads on this website, lots of helpful hints! I hope we have no problems with air transat...comming from saskatchewan, we don't have a lot of choices. I have had many family members and friends who have done sunwing this year and last year, and heard lots of horror stories about their flights. So sunwing was definately out for us! Thanks for the info on the storage of the dress, there definately will NO luggage on top of my dress!!
  4. We just booked the Barcelo Maya Colonial in the Mayan. We are flying with Air Transat and booking a wedding package thru them. Glad everything is comming together!
  5. Hello Canadian Brides! I am new to the site and I am glad I found this fourm. I am a sask bride and we are getting married in the mayan riviera in Feb 2014. We are pretty close to booking our resort and can't wait!
