Yes unbelievable right? The sad part that money isn't going to bettering the country. We are doing a symbolic wedding. Too much money and to much work to get legally married over there.

Hello All! I'm getting married on July 27th at Dreams La Romana. The package we chose included free hair and makeup but I'm not too sure I want to take the chance of using who they provide and end up hating my hair and/or makeup. Has anyone used the hair stylist and makeup artist there for their wedding? If so, what are your opinions? Also, I had my heart set on using Jochy Fersobe for our wedding video. He did a great & fun wedding music video but he is unavailable. Any recommendations? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you Thank you

Hi there! I too am getting married at Dreams La Romana but in July. I was worried about the hair and makeup as well. I won't be able to go back to DR till right before the wedding (I was just there) so I can't do a trial. You liked how they styled your hair? What was wrong with the makeup? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I was just going to go with what the package offered but if they didn't do a good job then maybe I won't. I have some family there so I will speak to my cousin to find a makeup artist and get back to you What photographer and videographer are you using? I loved Jochy Fersobe. He does amazing wedding videos but he isn't available for our date so I'm looking for someone else.
