I'm getting married at the Now Larimar on Feb. 15th less than 3months and so much to do!!!! I'm so excited only having about 15 people so very small but it's what we wanted. I am using an outside planner because I just want to show up and not stress hopefully. Glad to see you all in here!!!

Pretty sure as stated by susanmike2013 they have changed their policy read what she wrote I am still waiting to hear from my planner

Ok so I have spoken to my planner at Luxe and they are in contact with the hotel about this. I have told them I will choose another resort if this doesn't pan out. Still waiting to here also super upset that if I wasn't on this forum I wouldn't have even known then flipped out later. Anyways ill keep you all posted to their response if they don't change it I'm back to the drawing board which is so stressful I'm freaking out!

Already sent mine an email gonna move my whole event I think because this is prob just the start of them not letting outside people in

So maybe the just mean without paying the fee I don't see why they should care who we use they are still getting our money. Anyways I have an outside WC with Luxe Destination weddings so hopefully she can figure all this out. I have only put a deposit down might move if this is the case I have a year.

I am interested as well about the outside photo person? I do not want to use theirs and my sister in law is a photographer and will be traveling with us. So stressful ugh

Hey I have a question do all ceremony's have to be in Spanish or can you find an English speaking justice. I think having it done twice seems silly or one guy standing in front of the other seem strange so I guess I'm asking is this a law or something?

So I am new to process and after looking at a bunch of sites I believe we have choosen the Now Larimar for our wedding which will be Feb.15th 2014 so I have a ton of time. I was also concerned about trip advisor but know that some people just like to find things wrong anywhere they go. I have been to reasorts before and have had the best time ever, but if you read the reviews it doesn't seem they were even at the same place! So no more trip advisor for me! We are using LUXE destination wedding planners so I hopefully won't have to sweat the small stuff as she will be there for the wedding, and handling all the planning with the on site person as well as outside vendors I feel this is worth the extra cost as I know nothing about the island and they have planned hundreds of weddings here. Anyway getting excited even tho it's a year away. Oh and pintrest is my fav I've got so many ideas and I can't wait to hear how all your weddings go! Rachel
