I got to try two of the wedding main courses. I tried the shrimp and duck, because I decided to go with the Surf and turf for my rehearsal dinner.... My fiance and I loooved both the shrimp and the duck dish! Anel shared that the most popular is the Surf and Turf, so if you arent having a rehearsal dinner than I would consider that.... The portions are small but cuisine-like. The presentation of both were great! Hope that helps!

Hello Everyone, I just got back from both Now Jade and Now Sapphire. My wedding will be in July at Now Sapphire BUT I stayed at Now Jade this trip. I met with Anel, my wedding coordinator for 3 hours at Now Sapphire. It was amazing! I got to see all of the locations, try and food, and plan out my wedding! I also loved staying at Now Jade and saw a wedding from afar. For those of you who are deciding between resorts, here is what I can tell you. They are both wonderful but also VERY different. If you are someone who likes a contemporary Miami style looking place, go with Now Jade. The suites are way nicer at Now Jade.... However, if you want a more warm, Mexican inspired feel, go with Sapphire. I live in Miami, so for me its not that exciting to have a chic contemporary place. I looooved how romantic and unique Sapphire felt. I also found the pool to be nicer at Sapphire. I dont know the wedding coordinator at Now Jade, but I am sooo happy to have Anel. If you are a pottery barn type of person, go with Now Jade. If you like more of an IKEA and Miami-chic look, go with Jade. Either way, they are both amazing!

I was told by Anel that the flowers for the arc are not included. I am still a bit confused myself. I am meeting with Anel next week. I will find out then and repost.

Who has used the hair/makeup at the NOW resort. What was your experience??

I have done sooo much research. The top 3 affordable ones are: Sascha Gluck, Juan Navarro, and Ivan Luckie. Look them all up and you will find all the info you need and they offer very reasonable prices!

Hi, I am getting married on July 5th, so we arent too far off from each other. I used this site to get many recommendations. I was sadly surprised to see that my Divine Package didnt include a lot of things I wanted. The set ups are all basic with only white linens and such. A good rule of thumb, anything you want in color will cost you. Also, the photography package they offer is only 1 hour! I am using that for my rehearsal dinner and hiring an outside photographer. We also went with an outside DJ like many others. I suggest you buy a calling card and call Anel in Mexico and go over everything with her on the phone. That is how I got most of my answers!! GOOD LUCK!!!

Getting married at NOW Sapphire July 5, 2013. We decided to get legally married in the states right before we take off and then just do a symbolic ceremony at the resort. Apparently the resort provides a minister. Id like to know what your experience was with this sort of ceremony and if you were able to communicate with the Minister ahead of time to discuss what things you would like to be included. AKA a reading or a ritual. THANKS!
