We are also paying for the wedding ourselves. However it looks like Melia pays close attention to detail for the wedding/reception unlike some other resorts I've checked out, so I think its won me over

Hello Melia bride's my name is Ashley and I'm considering Melia as a top contender for my wedding aiming for April 2014. I'm trying to figure out prices and haven't heard back from the resort yet. I'll probably be having 20 to 30 guests so I'm thinking the Tropical Fairy tale would be my choice. I'm wondering though how much the surcharge is per guest over 24 people and how much it is per hour to extend the ceremony. Are there any additional fees I need to factor in on top of the package? Also is there a room upgrade included and which room is it? I would appreciate any help I've found this forum to be awesome.
