Hi Ladies! It is official, we have a date! I will be walking down the aisle on May 19, 2015!! I am so excited!!! My invitations arrived today, so those will be going out this week. All of a sudden things are just starting to fall into place. I have confirmed the date/time/location of the ceremony... but am wondering if there is anything else to do at this point. Now that I have my date confirmed I'm not stressing, just want to make sure I don't miss anything. Any feedback would be great.

It will have been 2 weeks on Monday since I sent a wedding date request to the WC. I even had my TA follow up on my email. Still haven't heard anything...*sigh* Planning to wait until Monday and then ask my TA to call. I just want to order my invitations and start getting people's trips booked. @@Marciemarce have you heard anything back? @@SarahWember Congrats!!! I'm new to the forum, but love hearing other brides reviews. I'm sure I will have some questions for you! I can't see your hair/make-up pics on my work computer, but am excited to check them out when I get home.

@@Marciemarce Sorry for the delay... I was out of town over the weekend. Just sent you the information and contact info for the WC at the resort.

Have an amazing trip and enjoy every minute!! @@Marciemarce I just met with my TA yesterday which brought my stress levels on booking the wedding date down A LOT!! Based on my conversation I would suggest you confirm the wedding date before you book your trip. That way you avoid any added stress if your trip booking and wedding date don't line up. I'm also new to the feed, but from what I have read communication with the WC at the resort takes time. I would get in touch with the resort ASAP just to get the ball rolling. Do you have the wedding package options already? If not I would be happy to send them to you...since Britt was kind enough to send them to me PM me your email address. Good luck!

Thanks @@MrsSheppardToBe I feel like my TA should be doing the same thing, but she told me to contact the resort WC directly. I'm just going to send the forms in and if i don't hear back in a couple of weeks I will have my TA reach out to them by phone. Other OCT brides, what was your experience with confirming your wedding date?

Thanks Jenna! I am getting ready to send the wedding reservation form and credit card authorization... even though I haven't had any contact with the wedding coordinators at the resort. Is this the best way to go to get the ball rolling? I know Britt mentioned she waited a long time to hear anything back and finally had to call them directly. I just want to have confirmation of the wedding date, all the other details I am ok with dealing with closer to the actual date. What was your experience with confirming your wedding date?

Where is the information/documents for the deposit? I am just in the beginning stages of actually getting down to business and planning. My TA only gave me the email address for Ana and told me to send her an email.

Hello Ladies, I'm planning my wedding at Ocean Coral for May 2015. I just emailed the resort to confirm our actual wedding date, but am wondering how long it will take them to get back to me? I just went back and read your other posts about having trouble getting deposit confirmations, etc. I will be patient and see if I get a response. I'd like to get invites sent out in the next couple of weeks... I'm excited to be joining this thread! Hanna
