We are expecting around 40-50 people total including kids. All in we are budgeted around 15000-17000 depending what the Canadian dollar is like at the time we make final payments and the final tally of guests. I am currently losing weight and ordered my current size yesterday, I know I will lose more weight so I am prepared to pay the alteration cost on whatever it may be. My consultant said they can alter up to 8 dress sizes in changes.

We went with chiffon, they are heavier than I thought they would be but I guess they can sweat a bit right along side me lol

I think you can pick whatever day of the week you want, I didn't even look at the day of the week when picking my date

We are doing a symbolic ceremony with my BIL being the officiant so we decided our own order of ceremony by doing online research of sample weddings. If you are having a legal ceremony there I would ask your coordinator for their standard order of ceremony.

Congrats! I'm a DR bride too. Getting married in November at the Dreams Palm Beach, I fell for the resort early on and have been happy with my planning and communication with them thus far. I have heard great things and looked at 100's of pictures online of the resort and weddings held there. HTH happy planning

Our final payments for our group is due in September. So we set an RSVP by August. I will mail out invites beginning of May, 3 months prior to RSVP due. Not sure if that is the norm, but that is my plan.

Chiffon here too, they are a darker color so I really wanted something that flowed.
