Hi ladies! I wouldn't mind seeing a copy of an invoice as well. We have approximately 56 people coming to our wedding! I am feeling a bit stressed and i know she is busy, but there are a few things to still organize!!! Just wondering if any other brides who are getting married in the next few weeks have heard from Mayte in the last few days? I know everything will be amazing, but I would sleep bettee at night id I knew a few things were sorted out haha!!!

I stayed at the NOW last March and loved it! I also met Mayte during that trip and visited the Jellyfish!!! We will be staying there again this December for our wedding!!! I would be happy to answer any specific questions you all may have regarding the resort !

Hi ladies, I am getting married at the Jellyfish December 10th, 2013, and just had our photographer who was going to be travelling with us cancel! So... I am franticlly trying to find a replacement. I would have LOVED to have Katya Nova, but unfortunately they are not available. I am just wondering if any other December brides who are getting married the week of December 9th are still looking to hire a photographer (I know its doubtful at this point, but you never know unless you ask) please message me. I have found a phenomal photographer, but they are out of our budget, unless we can find someone else to split the costs with!!! Could be a great deal for two of us!!! I would also love any recommendations any past brides may have, or future brides on who you have booked. We are located just north of Toronto, Ontario. I will admit our standards are fairly high as my hubby to be is bit of a photographer himself - so he is slightly picky!!! LOL! Any feedback is greatly appreciated!!! Cheers ladies!

I contacted her and she seems very nice and very affordable! I have since booked her for my December 2013 wedding. Her portfolio looks good, and she suggests skyping with you before hand so that she can see you and discuss what your looking for. She is very affordable and flexible with her pricing!

Yes, thank you inloveinkorea! We JUST had to bump our wedding from Feb to December, so scrambling to re-book and re-organize everything that was already done! STRESSFUL! As a result of having to bump our wedding Krystie Ann is not available to do our hair/makeup because she won't be in DR in December Totally bummed because I live in same home town as her, have had her do my makeup in the past and had my trial all set to go. So now I'm back to the drawing board. Can anyone recommend anyone else? What are you other December 2013 brides doing? Is anyone else getting married the week between Dec 7-14 or thereabouts and interested in splitting cost of getting someone there? I am open to suggestions and any recommendations anyone may have? Resort is NOT an option as I just recently returned from resort we are staying at for the wedding and while there had a trial which went terribly!!! Hi ladies! I just returned from vacationing in the beautiful DR! I stayed at the Now Larimar, which was a beautiful 20 ish minute beach walk down to the Jellyfish! I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to meet with Mayte while there to discuss my Feb 18th, 2014 wedding!!! It was sooo great to see the Jellyfish in person! It is such a cool place, and looks just as awesome in person as it does online!!!! It is a very intimate space! Stunning! Before my trip I was feeling a bit worried about how everything was going to come together, and I was so anxious to get going on the planning, but with the response times being so slow betwee Mayte and I it was becoming a bit stressful!!! Even despite each returning bride saying how perfect, and wonderful their weddings were I needed to know it for myself! So let me also say, Mayte is absolutely AMAZING! She is incredible, so sweet and kind. She will absolutely do everything to make your special day nothing but perfect. After only 5 minutes together Mayte had a strong sense of who I am, my style and what vibe I wanted for my wedding day. She was instantly able to come up with amazing decor ideas, better then anything I had come up with! I left there feeling VERY excited!!! Mayte invited us to come for drinks a few days later to see her setting up for a wedding. We took her up on this, and despite being so incrediblly overworked and stressed, you would never know it! The wedding we saw her setting up for was beautiful! Everything was done with such care! Mayte was sooo composed and even took a few minutes out of her day to come and talk with us again She really is an amazing lady. Mayte did express to us how busy she is. She has a wedding everyday from the time we were there until the end of May. NO break. And she has a beautiful 2 year old daughter to squeeze in there too! She said she decides at least 18 hours to each wedding!!!!! So with all of that being said, please be patient with her, she does the best she can to respond to e-mails, but did explain she tries to, for obvious reasons, respond to those brides with wedding dates coming up vs someone like myself who isn't until February 2014! She is incredibly organized and knows exactly what's going on. She is an amazing one man show! I took some great photos of the jellyfish, which I can hopefully get uploaded in the next week for you all to see. Also, tried the coco loco drink which was delicious! The Pina Colada was one of the best I have ever had, with pieces of coconut! Hope this helps ease most of your minds! Your wedding will be PERFECT! Any questions, don't hesistate firing me a message!
