Hi, My fiance and I are planning our wedding in St Thomas, USVI. I've heard that it may be smart to hire a wedding consultant or coordinator to take care of the marriage license, courthouse, etc. Any ideas? Or places on the island to have our wedding ceremony? Im also looking for a beach wedding dresss and I'm having the hardest time! Arghhhh Danielle

What immediately comes to mind when you think of a having your wedding somewhere in paradise? What should come to mind when thinking of jetting off to the white sands to say your “I do’s” is affordability and intimacy. There is nothing more affordable than traveling to your wedding destination while being minutes away from your honeymoon villa. And there is nothing more intimate than hosting your ceremony on a private beach with your best friends and closest family watching you and your mate commit to each other forever.

I think a travel agent is extremely helpful if they are in part coordinating your travel itinerary with your wedding consultant (if you have one). This can prove to be a cost and time saver as they know your destination, best company to use for guest transpiration, airport shuttle, hotel, etc. Location can also determine the value a travel agent can bring to your wedding. For example, a travel agent in Mexico may not be as beneficial because the costs are cheaper but in the BVI or another remote island it may be worth the extra costs! Danielle.

Hi, My husband and I are getting married in December in St Thomas. We are so excited and stoked we made the decision to have a destination wedding. However, I am having the hardest time finding an informal beach wedding dress. Can anyone help me? I found one dress at Davids Bridal but would have to make alterations as its wayyy too long. I cant seem to find anything in-sore or online! Thanks.
