Hi fellow brides! I was wondering 2 things: 1. What did you think if Castaways if you had our reception there? Our reception is from 7-11pm on June 30th 2013 and we are booked there, but I'm having second thoughts on the location fearing it may be too hot or if there are mosquitoes. Maybe the breeze and the fans (extra rental cost) will be enough? 2. Has anyone used a photobooth at their reception? If so, did you set this up through Now Jade or outside vendor? Cost? Thanks!

Fingers crossed that you are right! If so, I'll be renting since $10 buck extra for the lamp rentals is much cheaper than buying 20 lamps myself and paying $40 for hanging. I have an email in to Pilar and I will confirm when I hear back.

I should add that this is if we bring our own. Not sure if the $50 for 20 lanterns includes the cost of them hanging the lanterns. If anyone else knows, please let me know as well.

Pilar mentioned it would be $40 tip for setup of our paper lanterns.

Sorry for my late reply! I went with Catamaya sailing cruises. I chartered the boat for the day. And they also have large catamarans that can accommodate up to 100 people. It's a flat rate - pricey but great compared to a bunch of other catamaran cruises. My mom-in-law decided to pay for it since we aren't doing a rehearsal dinner! I decided to do it 2 days before the wedding. They provide open bar, entertainment, snorkeling equipment, flexibility in terms of where you travel. They have grills on the back on the boat on which they provide a choice of grilled steak or lobster while people are snorkeling. Should be a fun way to treat our guests for coming so far for our wedding!

She was the only one I have contacted so I wasn't sure if I was missing out by not speaking to other agents to make sure I wasn't missing out on some great deals or lower room rates since I have such a large group coming down. Hi Everyone, May I ask who you are using for a travel agent? I inquired here and the host put me in touch with vacations4less, who gave a good package. But, since my wedding will be really large for a destination (about 100), I wanted to be able to secure a great discount, free rooms, free shuttle service, etc. Can anyone recommend any agents?
