Hi, Hoping to book my wedding at Gran Bahia Akumal in a couple of weeks - has anyone got married there and what's the overall take on Mexico as I've never been? Thanks, R

Hi, I'm new to all this wedding stuff!!! We got engaged in September but only just starting to plan it as we've move house etc etc. I don't like attention so we're thinking of getting married at the Gran Bahia Principle Akumal resort in May 2013 rather than locally in the UK. I've read reviews about the resort and whilst they are all positive and the brides and scenery look beautiful, I can't help but still get nervous about all the attention esp at the Poolside Reception and people starring and ultimately judging! So my first question is this......how on earth do brides overcome their nerves and enjoy their big day?! Thanks x
