  1. I did it for the ceremony only and I basically let everyone know about it in my pre-travel brochures. I am SOOO GLAD I did it! Everyone respected our request and they were fine with it. I also let them know not to post photos they took from the wedding on Facebook or any other social media sites until we released some of our pro photos on there. People were really good with that as well. They didn't post anything and even after I posted our photos, they asked if it was okay to share some of their photos as well. I have wonderful friends and family! I was really happy they respected our wishes and I would advise if you are considering it, to let them know of your wishes in advance.

  4. You are awesome, Tova! All this hard work you have put in and now your day is coming so very soon. I wish you the best and hope your wedding is everything you've dreamed of.
  5. Thanks, ladies! This forum was so helpful to me and even though I was not a May bride, I really felt our timelines were similar, especially for you ladies getting married in the next week or so. I wish all of you guys luck and remember to breath and have fun! All this pre-planning is worth it!
  6. Yes, I am back! The wedding and honeymoon (we flew over to one of the other Cayman Islands called Cayman Brac) was fantastic. I don't think I could have dreamed up a more perfect day, for real. Even at our reception on the rooftop of the hotel facing the ocean, we saw a shooting star! Come on, now that has to mean something, right? hehe
  7. Yay! Congrats! Have a wonderful time!
  8. So jealous of all your bachelorette parties! I wish I had one, but my MOH (who is my cousin) doesn't really know any of my friends and everyone is out of state (they in NYC and Cali) and me in DC. I just opted not to do it. I'm an April bride but this forum has by far helped me the most in my planning journey. Sharing ideas and support and keeping it active! I leave in the morning for Cayman and I'm so excited that the time is finally here! I'll be back to report on my experience!

  10. I am glad you are opting to get the dress remade by Babyonline. They do have a good reputation as well, but I have to say, not as good as Jasmine's but I'm biased. I understand that if you were to get the dress done by them, you might as well spend the money to get the original dress. This must be frustrating for you. I hope you get the results you want from Babyonline.
  11. Damn! That is horrible! I'm sorry they didn't do a good job at all. I do hope you get some of your money back. This is why I am so glad I went with Jasmine's. They may cost a bit more but they really did an amazing job on my dress and countless other brides over the years. The proof is in the photos and the happy brides!
  12. ^^ You aren't supposed to use Q-tips to clean your ears!
