I've noticed discussions about decorations and flowers lately so I wanted to post a couple of pics from our wedding. We got everything from Lomas and I was extremely happy. I got the free tropical bouquet too!! I didn't specify anything except to have coral, pinks and whites. They gave us all roses! I ordered the following flowers for decorations: - 2 large hanging corsages - 6 small chair corsages - 2 tall vases with flowers All of the flowers were moved to the reception and we ended up with each table having a large floral centrepiece - they were gorgeous! The small corsages were used as decorations on the guest book and seating arrangement tables. They also decorated around the cake with the small corsages when it was time to cut it. Also, the flowers were taken by family and friends after the reception and enjoyed in their rooms. We even took a large arrangement with us on our honeymoon to El Dorado Maroma!

We had our ceremony at 5pm (it was really fast, maybe 20 minutes) and the sun was almost gone by 6pm. Looking back I probably would have moved up the ceremony time to 4:30pm so we would have had just a little more time for photos. We had 5 hours of photography. Had him start at 3pm and he was there until we cut the cake. It seemed like the perfect amount of time. I wish I would have suggested that he take some pics of the ceremony set-up and reception decorations during the time I was getting ready.

We had Javier take our photos. They turned out really nice - everyone that has seen them has been impressed with the quality. He was also super nice!! You will be happy!

Hi Ladies, We are leaving tomorrow and getting married on Thursday. Without the help of this forum I would not be nearly as organized and calm as I am right now. We are watching tv and drinking wine! I can't wait to get to the resort tomorrow. I will be sure to let you all know how it goes and give any advice that I think may be helpful.

I put my LED lights together this afternoon with my Mom - a great DIY with only 8 days to go! It took a little while to figure out the steps but once we got rolling it didn't take long to assemble them. Can't wait to see how they look at the reception!

Congratulations tkuzma!! It's really nice to hear about your wonderful wedding week. It makes me excited too! I didn't even think about asking for 2 separate flavours for the two tier wedding cake. I'll have to steal that idea. I had just asked for strawberry. We are also going to El Dorado Maroma for our second week because I knew we would need some honeymoon time. Thanks for confirming that!

I booked Caribe for 5 hours. They will start at 3pm. Our wedding is at 5pm. I hope this will work out!....I really have no idea! Originally, I thought that I only wanted 1-2 hours of photography but then realized I might be disappointed when it's all said and done if I didn't have enough photos.
