  1. Can any Canadians tell me how you went about paying the resort for your wedding? Is it possible to do a wire transfer or something? How did you pay? In US funds prior to the wedding? Any help would be great!
  2. I've booked my wedding for April 2013 at GSP and all I've heard from Pilar is that it's $200 to use an outside photographer, which is what I'm doing. Here was her response to my question: Can we bring our own photographer or hire an off-site photographer? What are the rules or additional charges for this? The Hotel reserves the right of Not allowing external music, artists, photographers, videographers and florist’s services, any kind ofr wedding decoration or any external supplier, apply extra charge of $200.00 USD per person. Besides that some clients prefer to bring their own photographer from them contries or contract local photographer and pay the supplement fee to the hotel. Not sure about a florist and I have no idea what she would mean by a $500 per person charge. Are you sure you're not misunderstanding her or she's misunderstood you? Hope this helps...
  3. My fiance and I are traveling to the Mayan Riviera for our wedding the week of April 3-10, 2013. We are planning on hiring a Canadian Photographer who's style and photos we love and intend to fly both him and an assistant down to Mexico. We are wondering if anyone who is getting married April 4-7th in the Mayan Riviera might be interested in having their wedding photographed by this same Photographer and splitting the costs of travel for both him and his assistant. Our wedding group and the photographer will be staying at the Grand Riviera Princess resort. The Photographer's name is Amer Nabulsi and you can view samples of his work at http://www.amernabulsi.com. Feel free to contact him directly via his website, or myself at [email protected] for more information. Thanks, Leanne

  5. Hi, Any update on how your wedding went as well as feedback on what packages you chose? We've just booked Grand Sunset Princess for April 2013! Feedback/advice would be appreciated! Thanks, L.
  6. Hi all, If anyone has information on their experiences at Grand Sunset Princess, please let me know. We've booked everything for April 2013 and are currently deciding on which package to go with. We're looking at the Chill Out area for our reception as well as the Royalty package because we are doing a legal ceremony. Does anyone have any advice or experiences to share? It would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, L.
