Okay, I will tell you the real truth about this place as I just came back from there this past Friday 20th 2012. The Good. The resort is beautiful. The food from the restaurants I went was very good and plentiful. Sushi, Hibachi was the best I tried out of the restaurants there. Rooms were spacious and confortable with all the drinks in the room included. Plenty of pools (13), spas and a huge mall inside of the resort. The Bad. This place is huge so unless you are going to be there for at least a week, don't expect to enjoy everything it has. Bring a jacket, it gets chilly at night. They give you some spending money on your account but you cannot use it on everything you want. Forget and I mean don't even think about the Dun buggy excursion they offer. It is a big waste. You are greeted by pushy employees trying to sell you a time share before you are even relaxed enough to know better. The town of Punta Cana is dirty but you're too far off of it to visit anyway. Not much music. For a Hard Rock place, you expect to hear it all over. You don't except on some of the pools. The Horrible. They managed to push their modified time share on my wife and I am not happy about it at all. If they offer you 200 to come hear their sales pitch, run the other way. Trust me, I wish I did. It may be good for people who are retired and travel a lot, but it will take many years for me to get my money's worth. If you still want one, send me an email. It is transferable and I will let you have it for the balance. Unused. Not trying to blame them for our mistake. Is just that I know that I don't travel enough to take full advantage of it.
