Hello Future 2012-2013 Brides! I have been reading through all of your posts and continue to get more and more excited about the upcoming ceremonies and trips. I just sent Wendy Hicks an email based on your recommendations and posts and can't wait to hear back from her. I am a school teacher so I have sent the date for June 2013 during my summer vacation. I am concerned about the heat, but my hope is that it won't be quite as popular as the cooler Mexican months so there will be later ceremony times available. Additionally, before I came across the extensive RPRM threads, I was looking at the Riu in Cancun: Palace Las Americas. Did any of you look at this resort also and finally choose the RPRM? If so, what made you choose this over the other? Thanks in advance for all your advice. I look forward to discussing all the planning details with you over the next year! Hello Riu Palace Las Americas brides, I have been researching different locations for my wedding in June 2013 and am leaning towards the Riu Palace Las Americas, but was wondering why other resorts have over a 1,000 posts about weddings there compared to fewer posts for the RPLA Cancun. Is is because this resort is more expensive so fewer brides decide to have their wedding here? I am specifically comparing this location to the Riu in Playa Del Carmen: The Palace Riviera Maya. Any thoughts/opinions/advice is greatly appreciated!
